And res scrolls, don't even get me started. I've just tried to rob a single trader who is much weaker than I am. It started at west ferry, and ended at bandit. He was off his transport, and I killed him. He used a res scroll, and kept going forward with his 5 second invulnerability, then I killed him again, then he used a res scroll, then went forward some more, then I killed him again, then he used a res scroll, went forward some more, then I killed him again, he used a res scroll, went forward some more. So, I decided to try and kill his trans for obvious reasons. I zerked and killed his transport, and he of course used a res scroll.
So I killed him. He used a res scroll. I killed him again. He used a res scroll again. This time he summoned a transport as soon as he could, and my zerk was finished, and as a warrior it's not exactly easy to kill a silk transport by yourself, and this was, as absurd as it sounds, not even a 5 star trade, so I couldn't get much help from the npc thieves since they were only like 5-6. He just kept going like this and I tried to kill his transport but this was already very close to the bandit npc. I managed to kill his transport but he already sold everything.

And the most ridiculous thing is that this really Farking happened. Just now 5 minutes before I wrote this. He did not kill me a single time. I killed him over 15 times, I minimized the number of res scrolls he used. And he still won the trade.

This was posted in a private server forum, this actually happens, just wanted to see what a community outside this server thinks about the idea of reverse return scrolls and rez scrolls being "play to win" item.

It is not. But somebody complained that in a job war, the team with most reverse scrolls will win.

As Nightbloom also said, "pay to win" items were items such as premium etc. that gave extra stats and attack/defense.

Having the extra little stats never let you 'pay to win' and using the 20% scrolls made you a bad player. It wasn't really pay to win until recently. How do you get +12? Well either be very rich in gold or pay to win. Don't forget the job items! Quite sad really. I enjoyed playing Silkroad. You could have never really thrown all the money and suddenly win. Never worked like that and which is why the group I used to play with during 80 and 90 rarely had premium+, but did very well during jobbing and wars.

I guess the taboo of using res, 20%, etc etc in this game was thrown out the window when turks are the main players.

this is my view on it;

I dont think they should be removed
I do think they should have a cooldown, or atleast have like a 30second-1minute cast time.

If you die and then come right back as if you dying didnt affect anything at all, and call it job pvp, well cape pvp seems more suitable for u. Theres a reason you get returned to town when you die, instead of just ressing right back on the spot. if you wanna ress right back on the spot, go cape pvp.

Right now if either a hunter or thief find someone that they KNOW they will die from (like outnumbered), instead of using strategy to run away/calling for help they just go all out, because they know even if they die theres no PENALTY at all, they can ress right back.

Cooldown/Longer Casttime.

and stop the BS that only thieves are QQing about it. both thieves and hunters use reverses, and no one is saying only hunters use it or vice versa.

To be honest I would rather see no cooldown at all. Mainly because I usually use reverses not for Job war, but for training. Would kinda suck if I died and had to wait 1 minute before I could return to kill that giant I was getting at.

its pay to win as its a free game if you dont pay you can stil play the game its as simple as, dont get me wrong a level 100 killing all the uniques most spawns is annoying but if joymax is to keep the game running they need money. i do wish they got rid of bots but even their methods of doing that have been trashed by item mall stuff that stops the clock in sro-r i said when i come back i dont think il stay for long but im stil here as i enjoy my guild when i do quit il just go back to wow as i know i pay and to win it takes skill but the same time i dont object to joymax making money they need to surive and by offering items like that they are almost garenteed to have people buy them
