Just curious,

So I was farming Karras with this lvl 55 to help him with the quest, and this master_of_INT guy wants me to join him instead and I said no.

So he attacked and killed me and I was mad so I ran back and found him again. But still his name is white and I don't want to end up in the murder state. However he attacked me again and I managed to kill him first. But before I knew it he was back and murdererd me again,

and once again when I got back his name was white.

Sorry if this was messy, but did they change the PK system somehow? The game guide still says the red/purple name thing so I'm confused.



Also, does anyone know what this is?

When someone attacks you > hes name become purple = everybody can attack him (penalty)
When someones name goes purple you attack him = your name becomes purple too (penalty)

But if you let him attack you and kill you (without attacking him back, white name<) he becomes murderer, everybody can kill him without penalty

Well, when he attacked me the second time and I killed him, I didn't get any penalty or colourful name

This is the new system.
When you're attacked, you should think if you can kill the attacker or not. Because if you attack back and get killed, the attacker's name will not go red, which sucks. If you attack back and kill the attacker, you will not get a red name. The attacker's name will go red if you don't attack back.

Like i said, He did attack you = you reacted you won't get red name...
both will get purple only

And like I said, I didn't get a purple name, and neither did he the second time

Then I apologize sir .. new system? or bug?

When any of the sides attacks, they get a purple name. Doesn't matter what the situation is. So it's probably a bug.

Basically if he draws first blood, he gets a purple name. And you can kill anybody who's got a purple name without getting a red name.

So if a high lvl player attacks you - don't fight back because then you'll get purple name and he's still gonna kill you except he won't get any penalty.

So basically if:

The opponent is higher, just don't fight back

The opponent is lower, NUKE HIS ASS!
