Not sure since when but i today noticed that Meteor has same dmg as firebolt. Screenies as a proof:


well looks like wizard lost his strongest attack.
question is if current meteor is worth to use in most of situations since firebolt is faster/ has lower coodown and lower mp cost.

Um, did you test the damage practicaly?

Joymax does seem to have many visual bugs in damage lately.

Meteor is aoe skill, so if you want attack multiple enemies. But yea meteor is quite useless now.

This was since they added the Euro race...

didnt test yet. I'm busy last time.
and no it wasnt since euro. Before it was 439% for meteor and 366% for Firebolt

Firebolt > meteor, reason: casting time.

why firebolt > meteor nowdays:
-casting time (as said above)
-cooltime (also important)
-mana cost (when grinding solo best way is to use only firebolt and frozen spear imo)

only adventage of meteor is area attack. but its not a secret that meteor has a low range...

When grinding solo firebolt+frozen spear were always better than meteor..
Meteor is still best used in group pvp (FWs) cause of aoe (along with the lv 80 earth aoe and ice aoe)
