Silkroad-R character sight range

Hello ,
What`s wrong with sight range in SRO ? It was 1 for me in options, I made it 5 and it didn`t change a bit.. I see only monsters which are near me :/

Let me put it this way:
I have not noticed that it is not working. I always have it on 5. Both at Silkroad and Silkroad-r, and I have not noticed any changes.
Maybe it's the downgrade of range that doesn't work. So it will show a sight range of 5 no matter what. Don't know.
All I know is that it's working for me. Maybe check if your graphic driver needs an update

Just tried it out. The character draw distance doesn't do squat. Building one worked for me though.

He means the world's drawing distance(i.e with value 1, you will barely see the horizon and lots of fog and with 5, you would be seeing mountains/structures and other world-related stuff from miles away.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but high shadows only show up on like 5~10 models. Before it used to show up on EVERYONE. I can actually have it on now or maybe because I haven't touched SRO in years I can't remember and my old computer was a toaster.

Yes, they changed something with the shadow setting. Previously I had a hard time running it with shadows on highest details. I guess they kinda fixed that. Also, looks way better now

It looks alright. Seems odd to have the nearest 10 shadows to show up. If grinding alone it looks beautiful to have on. With baked shadows in the map it looks weird though
