I played Silkroad about a year ago but when I tried to get on my old account, my character was deleted. I'm now starting from scratch in Azteca and have noticed there are not wolves for sale at the stable. How do I get a wolf?

You just came 1 week late, last week the wolves attacking pets system got updated and was replaced with the fellows system, basically new pets that with the help of a little amount of silk (60 silk/3 months) gain the ability to be ride them, they can zerk and store sp, there are a thread in Gd with more details.

Now as to how get a wolf, i think that you can't anymore but i didn't log in from a while to know for sure.

Pretty sure you can, but got a feeling that they will be over-priced.

Since you are starting from scratch anyway, why not try a private server, The Vsro official files got hacked and leaked a couple of months ago and now many pservers got released.

The rates there starts from 5x to 700x faster leveling than Isro, from 70 cap up to 120 cap servers, pretty sure you can find something you like there.

Interesting , i have not played the old version for about 2 years now once the bot's flooded.
But back in the day i was a wolf farmer , have 20 in my bank on 1 char , other chars 5 each on diffrent realms.

Well hopefully not , most games do have a wipe after CBT , but most times OBT data gets saved.

This will be something i will be looking into on thier official site when it opens in a few hours , if there is a wipe , i won;t be spending much time at all here , make a char run out , see if mangyangs are the first fight,Quest up till about lvl 17 where you get the first huge grind quest . Remeber the 200 black fur's , yeah , the one that you had to kill like 1500 wolfs for the 200 furs , that will be my point of . No return or stay , for if that has not changed , Remember the flower quest at around lvl 36 ..go kill 3000 flowers repeat 3 times , ..... doin tht all over again.

Yeah hopefully the data will be saved.I'm not looking forward to the grind either; I've already spent countless hours of my life on the grind. Hopefully the xp adjustments will be a noticeable improvement.

I will say with Silkroad being my first ever mmorpg , it sure made me one hell of a grinder in every mmorpg. In no way am i saying this as a abd thing , for you all know that grinders ALWAYS have more gold in the end then questers and lvl just as fast , just to most it is a boring style of play, but not to me. I Love My Gold !

I'm all about economics myself. My first MMO was runescape in which I grinded endlessly. When its comes down to it, its all about the gold.

I hear ya , in the F2P market if you don;t have the gold you just get owned or feel left out.
Where as us grinders without paying in the new market of F2P can keep up wth the item mall purchasures fairly well.

But this game on the other hand , to get your +5-6 and above is so costly you need the reinforcement items , unless you have the gold to by from someone at a hefty price , but i never had a problem with buying them and not making.

If it is th exact same game , just less of a grindy feel , i will still grind though if the xp rate is decent , and buy 1 item from the mall. I always need my collecting cat, sure only saves a few seconds per kill but that time all adds up.

Well with gold not dropping until lvl 70 you might not even need a cat to collect... I wonder how prevalently items will drop.

I've always just bought my items instead of making them. I don't like leaving anything up to chance and why build something when someone else can lol

no gold drops , but there are the disenchanting items,potions,weapons & armor that all sell to npc.

Which with that stated , has me wondering what they are using to keep bots out , i remember bots could sell to the npc ...right !

Making this a possible huge income for gold sellers , since they grind 24/7 and get gold , yet the questing players get 0 , besides what quests offer.

I just went to thier site and grabbed this for you :

Growth & skill points improved
Reduced required EXP for level up
Change in monster item drop rate

Now this change for drops, only time will tell me if it is increased or decreased , if increased thats where the gold is.

Excellent hopefully the changes are legitimate. I wonder if the pets are going to be this new fellow system?

Yeah this fellow system i never heard of till today when i read this post of yours only to see that you HAVE to pay silk for pets .... not cool , but hope they kept the wolf in Silkroad-r

1 more feature i would like to see them add is an Action House i hated leaving my pc on to sell my goods in a stall , just added so much wear and tear on my power supplys leaving my game on 24/7.

Yeah seriously wolves were the shit and lacking a pet in this game is not feasible.I agree leaving the stall around all the time was rather annoying, I ended up selling to the npc unless the item was of real value...

wind 2 stack of 100 for 1-2 mill is where i amde most of my gold , by lvl 20 most new chars i would already be at 5 mill, and farming and lvling my wolfs that i was selling for 1 mill at the time.

I was not joking that all my chars have a minimum of 5 wolfs

It sounds like you need to help me get rich on SRO-r. Do you know which type of character your going to build? That's a pretty impressive profit margin...

for some reason i always play the chinese race , i have made the euro chars but i liked the begining forest feel of the chinese starting zone.

I always build spell casters , with heals. Depending on what they have done for the sp gan , i always had a 9 gap , just to beable to obtain and power all my spells and passive spells to max without running out of sp.

Starting weapon , always a bow for myself, but i never really increase its skill, i play nuker by lvl 30 so most times to me a weapon is useless.

Just looked on website , is down for maint.... duration 8 hours ..guess i will be checking it out tommorrow , damn that sucks , i really wanted to tst it tonight cause if it was not what i was hoping SWTOP releases tommorrow , wanted to buy it and jump in there.

i made a mistake SWTOR, starwars the old republic comes out tomorrow, if Silkroad R was not what i was hoping for by the time the quest 200 black furs , i was gonna buy it and spend 3 months in that world

well checked out the official site just now and it is closed , it says 5 hours , old silkroad is 8

That is only 1 am here , hmmm i still might be able to squeeze in an alnighter if the patching don't take long maybe i might be in by 2 am , lvl 17 by 4 am and at that first real grinder quest.

There is going to be another patch? Do you live on the east coast of Canada?
