So basically that means, they'll make a completely independent new game, which has (almost) nothing to do with the original Silkroad and keep running the old servers? Maybe this is what they meant with Silkroad 2 all the time? They announced it for 2012 too, didn't they?

Anyway i guess i can take a look at it and if i don't like it, i could just return to Azteca, as the old Silkroad servers are still there.

Don't worry. If you don't like the changes, you could just stay on Aege with your friends. From what i read, they won't remove the old servers. They'll keep the old ones running and make a new version of the game, which is completely independent.

By the time they started wanting to do something about the Bots in Isro it was to late, In this they can Stop the bots and why wouldn't they ? Whats the point of making a entire new sro if they aren't gonna try and make it a beter game ?

Ye, same here probably. If they won't keep the bots out, i'll just stay on Azteca for casual playing with my friends. I am not that sure either, if there really won't be any bots, but it might be worth a try. I always wanted an official (international) server for legits only and if this turns out to be one, i won't hesitate leaving Azteca behind.

Also it seems that Joymax actually cares about Silkroad-R and tries to improve it and to listen to the community. If there are enough legits on Silkroad-R, who keep reporting bots, they might realize, that there are quite a lot people, who actually want a clean SRO without bots. Until now, the main problem was, that the legits were spread over several servers and some legits reporting bots here and there didn't really cut it. But now we have the chance to gather all legits on 1 server and to keep reporting any bots that are on it. Maybe that would turn Silkroad-R into a true official legit server. And if it won't work, we could still go back to our original servers.

So in short, if the community shows them, that they don't want bots on that new server, there is a chance that they'll actually ban them, as the majority of the community on that server wants it.

I have to agree i've seen Joymax care more lately maybe they just realised Isro can't be saved and instead they want a new start Isro is slowly dying because of the botting issue it has maybe this is there way to get the game going again. Poeple will argue no content this and bla bla bla this mater of the fact is if there is no bots in a game like silkroad there can be a very large comunity of players and its comunity's that keep games alive always have and always will

Ye, exactly. Some points in your post would help though. It's quite hard to read them like that.

Anyway it's a completely new start and if the legit community is strong and big enough on that server, we could probably influence the policy on this server. They'll always listen to the largest group of customers (--> more satisfied and paying customers) and on ISRO it's clearly the bots, but maybe we can turn the tables on this new server. It's definitely worth a try. Maybe I'll form a legit guild on that server. I already have a lot experience at leading legit guilds and i won't hesitate doing the necessary steps. Also i'll enforce legit rules no matter what and i won't allow any exceptions to them. Everyone should be treated based on the same standards.

Well, you got it all wrong. In fact i don't believe anything until i see it, but there is a chance that things will be completely different on this new server. Joymax may not care about legits, but as you said they care about money. So if most of the paying customers on that new server are legits, it may become a legit server. And they'd still have the old ISRO servers for making money from the bots.

And besides, so far i didn't invest any money into my ISRO character. Also i don't care about level or equipment at all. All that matters for me is having real people for pting together and playing occasionally. Also, why would i want to play both games? I'd just play the one, which is more fun for me.

Actually from what i experienced, the legit community in SRO is bigger than you think. Also i am well aware that not all people here are legit, even if they say so. But on the other hand, there are also legits out there, who don't visit this forum. From what i have seen, there are also a lot legits, who don't mind investing money into a server, if they are going to stay on it. I have been part of several legit communities and i still have contacts to some of the people there. Also even among the ISRO-botters, there are some, who would prefer a clean gaming environment, but they are just not strong enough in their will to resist the desire of botting on servers, which are controlled by bots ("everyone is botting, so I'll just bot too to stand a chance against them"). But on a server, which is controlled or mainly influenced by legits, these people may stop botting and join the legit community instead. They just need strong leaders to guide them on the right path.

Anyway, we'll see how things will turn out on this new server, but i think it's worth it to try fighting for our dream of a clean silkroad without bots. You won't know how things are going to turn out, unless you try it. And if we should fail, it wouldn't really actually matter to me, as i still have Azteca to return. I just see this server as an opportunity to make it a completely new silkroad and to turn it into a silkroad, how it should be. It's worth trying it, actually i think it would be foolish, if we wouldn't try it. If not now, when then...? There will never be a better opportunity for showing Joymax, that there are enough legits out there, who want a clean SRO. Anyway, time will tell.

You remember how big the legit comunity was on Aege even in the 90 cap afterwards it started going down. If joymax would start banning on the new SRO poeple who bot i know allot of poeple would go legit again also because the 50% Exp reduction you know its true i think this would be best for both party's Bots stay in isro where they can have fun pvping with there own 8/8 while legits could just go to Sro-R it would be perfect in my eyes
