Hello, this is Silkroad Online.

We have been receiving suggestions from our players regarding the improvement of Silkroad Online. We deeply appreciate your enthusiasm and have considered your opinions. We are glad to announce that content improvements and events have been prepared to provide a better gaming experience for our dear players.

Following are the patch contents that will be applied on the next weekly server inspection on November 15, 2011;


For GSRO KR, US and Europe based Servers (Xian - Argos)

I. Events
1. Carnival Event will be opened (11/15 ~ 12/13/2011)
- Enjoy balloon carnival event and receive various rewards!
- Bonus Event: I am the King of Balloon Blowing! A special prize will be awarded to top 10 players per server who will be able to reach highest stage in the balloon blowing event.

2. 100% EXP/SP Event (11/15 ~ 12/13/2011)
- Enjoy a 100% Experience and SP rate increase during the whole event period.

3. Attendance Check Event (11/15 ~ 12/13/2011)
- Log in Silkroad Online every day, check your character's calendar and get various rewards such as SP Scroll, Stat/Skill Reset Scroll and other items. Attendance can be checked every 24 hours following Joymax Standard Time.

4. 11/12D Alchemy Rate Increase Event (11/15 ~ 12/13/2011)
- Upgrade and enhance your 11D/12D items and enjoy 30% alchemy rate increase buff that you will receive upon logging in.

5. Huge Discount on Alchemy Cash Items (11/15 ~ 12/13/2011)
- Enjoy 25% discount when you purchase Astral Stones, Immortal Stones, Special Awaken stones and Magic Proof Stones


II. System Updates
1. Ingame Survey System Update
- Players who want to participate in our Surveys will be able to do it in-game.

2. Gold Exchange limit Increase
- Gold Exchange limit will be increased to 1 Billion.

3. Premium Gold Time ticket and EXP Booster improvement
- Premium Gold Time Plus and EXP Booster can now be used simultaneously

4. Drop System Improvements
- 12D Magic Items will be dropped in Dimension of Mirror and inside Jupiter Temple
- Advanced Elixirs will be dropped by monsters in Tomb of Pharaoh and by unique monsters inside Jupiter Temple.
- Tablet drops will be removed
- Drop rate of Alchemy/Attribute Stones(10x), Elixir (2x), Talisman and Coins will be increased

5. New Avatar Fantasy Knight Outfit update (11/15 ~ 12/13/2011)
- Players who want to revamp their wardrobe may purchase the new Fantasy Knight avatar.

6. Character / Guild Name Change Item will be added
- Players and Guilds who want to modify their names can use Character Name change item and Guild Name change item.

7. Stat/Skill Reset Item will be added
- Stat and Skill Reset Item for Level 1- 100 players and Level 101-120 players will be available.

8. E-mail Item Security System will be applied
- In order to ensure the security of items and prevent item lost, players will be able to secure valuable items by verifying through e-mail.

9. Mystery Box Adjustment
- Level gap in obtaining Mystery Box item will be adjusted from 7 to 5 level gap


GSRO New Server: Genesis

Thus the earth was completed in its vast array.
Then a new ground on Silkroad was created.
That will be a home to a new European and Chinese civilization.
Genesis, a new journey and adventure is about to begin.

1. New Server ‘Genesis’ will be added
- Enjoy a new beginning in Silkroad in the new server Genesis. Genesis will be an exclusive server for players with entrance tickets, with a 100% exp/sp/drop base rate. Additional server features will be announced in the date of update, November, 15, 2011.

2. New Server ‘Genesis’ Events
- 100% EXP/SP Rate Increase Event (11/15 ~ 12/13/2011) : Feel the Genesis server fever with 100% EXP/SP Additional Increase!
- GM Events (11/15/11 ~ 12/13/11) : Celebrate in Genesis with our in-game events!
Event 1. Power players of the Day!
Event 2. Honor to the top descendants of Genesis
Event 3. GMs’ surprise visit!
Event 4. Daily hunts and treats

3. Item Mall Cash Item Discount Event (11/15/11 ~ 12/13/11)
- All Cash Items will be on 10% discount, exclusive for Genesis players.

I think it will stay 1bs ince they dont mention it..

Really awsome update! No more set hacking

At least we can drop 12D items now. So this 5 lvl difference no drop system doesnt matter that much anymore

does that mean we have to pay to be able to play in this server?

Kinda funny it took them so dam long to finally increase the gold limit in trades lol.

And yet its still only 1b, and no change in stalls..

GSRO = Genesis silkroad.
Its the p2p version of silkroad online.

Well... It looks like a decent update.

Silkroad has no good query system in consigment.I think they should correct this.You should find particular item you want.

I suppose euro update was in 2007, i don't remember.

Yeah it was the Euro update I believe. The servers kept crashing and insane lag early 2006. Insane lag I mean like 5~10 second delays nonstop.

Anyone really surprised by that graph? It's been downhill since forever. What you have mostly left are well mostly botters that don't care for the grind and just accept buying stuff every month when no one PvPs. Well I can't really comment on it now and for other servers, but that's how it was 100cap on Troy. That just causes every one else to quit. And it's not like there have been new games that came out either.

If they ban bots, muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch less of a grind, and active GM staff for Silkroad 2 then it can be a success. That is if keeping the core aspects of Silkroad.

Sucks this update doesn't really help...

As soon as they create an anti hack you know their taking player feedback.

If a gold bot can farm that amount of gold to pay for the cost you'd be your ass they'll be there. Don't forgot there are morons that buy gold even if the price is insane.

What that corrupted btches should do is to put an option to right clic name of spammers and block them, as majority of mmorpgs have, to have players happy

Guys do you think they will remove all tabs and elements in our storages?I started to make them stones anyway.
