So guys, I think we have all noticed that ever since Prem silks came they became more and more expensive.

Since premium silk prices are linked towards the goldprice, I have noticed something extremly alerting.

January 2010:
1B gold was about 50 euros
50 silks = 100m

June 2010:
1B Gold was about 40 euros
50 silks = 125m

December 2010:
1B gold was about 32 euros
50 silks = 150m

Februari 2011:
1B gold was about 25 euros
50 silks = 200m

April 2011:
1B gold was about 18 euros
50 silks = 250m

June 2011:
1B gold was about 14 euros
50 silks = 350m

August 2011:
1B Gold was about 10 euros.
50 silks = 500m ingame

So my guess is that sooner or later 1 simple Pet ress or Devil ress will cost us about 1b.
And that limit is probably reached around DECEMBER 2011.

The whole economy of silkroad is going to nothing.

I'm keeping my gold saved as pet clocks that i bought 90m-120m each, I'll never be affected by inflation.

you don't have to buy it to use it, your gold's worth is getting lower by the time, unlike silk items that you can resell after prices go up.

I have all my gold on some servers in Pandora boxes. Works as well

bot and gold companies probably belong to joymax anyway ;D they increase prices ingame, you buy more gold and silk, you bot they get the money. that's my conspiracy theory hahaha if it's not like that it would have been smart though.

I remember prices of silk items dropping at March or something , Global/Reverse Scrolls were 7 millions then went to 4.5 millions (of course now they are 10 millions) , anyway the lesser the people that buy premium silk the higher the prices in gold , in early March the game was pretty active and more people were buying premium silk than now .

People are quitting. Less people are buying. etc etc

With the amount of gold dropping every single day it's no surprise.

Thats why you buy everything with gold. I bought an avatar dress (just the body) for like 400m, instead of wasting like $15 on silk.

However my point is, sooner or later things will become unobtainable due to the prices.

For example Prem plus in my server is already costing 2.5b.. for just 28 days.
Sooner or later a limit is reached on which only the very rich can afford globals.
And premium silk isnt used anymore to sell, since nobody can afford it?

Pandora boxes have been down to 5m at some point.
Anyway, I didn't actually invest my money in them, I just bought as many as I could, as I wanted to make the largest Pandora box even EVAR!

I'm not done collecting them yet, though

Buy a hell of a lot of immortals... Considering how cheap they are right now.

@Itsune, make sure you got about 200+ boxes. Cuz a friend of mine opened 200 boxes on multiple accounts @ Samar south. Epic win.

seems like a good idea for wasting my gold before leaving.
is there a max number of boxes that I can open from one character?

That happy event was a good one , one of the few .

I still got like 6 months worth of devil spirit A grade if i choose to play again and these 4 coloured flags .

and

I still got 20 panadora in storage for personal use

I will, thank you. I will try to gather at least 500 boxes. I do realize it will require quite some people to open them all at once. I'll probably get my guild to help

I'm thinking about investing in silk items, I've got 8b gold and nothing to spend it on as no one sells the stuff I need.

In June pet revival clocks went for 230mil and I bought 4 yesterday for 390mil each, globaled and 4 people were looking 400mil per.
