I just wanted to know if there was a higher chance of getting the item if I go for a Seal of Star item as opposed to a Seal of Sun item?

Good question... I think there is, but im not 100% sure.

It depends on what degree and what items. I know it sounds crazy, but iirc the 10th degree has the same rates on sos as they do on sun for accessories? I would have to check if I can remember what file they're under.

What item are you trying to get?

Last I heard it was like this:

1-9D is easier to get SoS, SoM and Sun have same chance, which is a lot lower. 10D, all of them are hard to get.

I spent an embarrassing amount of money trying to get a 10D sun spear

never got it

Im trying to get a 8D Sun Shield, theres none on the server.

should i got for som instead if the chances are better?

I heard something about this , that the chances of getting a Sos is the same chance of getting a Som or a Sun .

IIRC someone proved with pk2 that the 3 have the same chance (doesn't matter if the chance of getting any is pretty low) .

Probably not , the chances of getting anything more than 6D in isro are INSANE .

I spent 5-6 magic pops on Azteca and got 7d SoM finally. On Iris I spent a good 500 silk and never got anything Sox.

A friend of mine spent a LOT more than that he said and never got SoS, SoM or SoSun. Ever. Like 1000's of silk. Crazy.

im gonna try 5 times i hope i get it. if i dont i guess ima have to jus use normal +4/5.

If I had SRO installed I could tell you the rates, but I only remember the avatar rates which were 3% for the hat and chest. I can't recall anything else.

10D was I believe .6%. A buddy got it under $10 and his brother got it with $1 or 2. Funny enough the one with $10 was at the cap, but quit. His brother was level 70 and stopped playing. I believe 10D had all the same rates across SoX. The other degrees were slightly different. 8D and below you could notice the difference though.

Why would they make SoS the same probability as SoSUN? No one would go for the SoS if that were the case.

I don't think probability above 6D is insanely low. I got a sun 7D 2h staff first try.

It is Hard to get it , a bit easier than 10D (IIRC) but you won't probably get it in 5 magic pop .

Not really worth it unless your getting devil S.

depends on luck. I remember I wasted around 4bil worth of gold when magic pop was worth 20-30mil each in stalls, but never got Devil S, also around 2bil for Angel wings but never got it. My friend got Pirate in 1 try and Devil S in 3 tries, so its all about luck.

I know people who spend over 500 dollars to get a SUN weapon in 90 or 100 cap, and they got nothing.

well ima just try 5$, wish me luck.

...I GOT IT:) SUN SHIELD 8D....but unfortunaely 5$turned to 10$ and then to 15$. i got it on my 12th attempt. so from now on no more magic POP. If i didnt get the shield i prolly woulda been so pissed and stopped playin.

This 15$ could have turned to 100$ , that's why i rarely use magic pop .
