Can someone please explain this SP farming method to me!?

First, hello to everyone and I wish you all the best!

Now, I've noticed them parties named ''Free ongs taxi 1-10 no mastery!'', why do high level players offer free taxi to low levels without any masteries added?

As far as I've found out its because of SP, but I don't understand how does it work!?
Please tell me the pros/cons of this method, tell me how it works, the best way?
the main reason I want to know is so I can try it out myself (I have a 80+ character)

Thanks a lot in advance! I've searched the forums but they are so occupied...

im not 100% sure.. but i think its 1-10 free taxi cause if theres a lvl 80 with 7 other lvl 1-10 it will lower the "party average lvl"

It's to lower the party average level. And no mastery means they haven't added levels to any mastery, which means they are sp farming, which means they level up slower, which means the party average stays lower for longer.

But when I tried it at penons with a level 94 char
when I lowered the party average, the exp didn't increase !
so anyone got a more detailed mathematical explanation for the party system?

Then it is obvious the goal is to keep the average level of the party as low and as long as possible.

How does this benefit the higher levels, they are getting as much SP as the lower levels because of the party average?

@K.K I think the goal is farming skill points, not gaining good experience pts..

It's actually pretty simple. As long as the party's average lvl is equal, or lower then the mob lvl, the party mobs give double xp/sp. (or they give only 50% when it's higher, not sure about that)

Wait a sec, futuresight, this isn't enough of an explanation I think, lets say I'm Lv 90 and when I kill an Ong, how much skill points would I get, 0.000003? ..

And with the bonus of the party as you say it gives the double points, then it would be 0.000006?

That isn't logical, why would high levels do all that for cr4ppy skill points amount?

lol, they arent farming sp for the high level. the high level is farming the sp for the lower level characters.the high level is killing the ongs for the low levels in the party getting them a lot of sp. they want 1-10 no masteries because if your between level 1-10 you will decrease the average level of the party which gives you more SP( i dont think it will give you more exp but i may be wrong)and no masteries will make the character level up much slower because of their skill gap and level. you dont want the character leveling because the more levels they gain the more the average level of the party rises.

well, obviously, it's not the high lvl that wants the xp. What they do is: they farm a new char themselves, but let's say their nub is lvl 20~ then (90+20)+10/2 = 55 > 33. So, they invite a couple of 10- chars in for free, to make the lvl (90+20+10+10)/5 = 28, so that their new char farms 2x as fast.

Because they aren't farming for themselves , they are farming another character in the party and "As long as the party's average lvl is equal, or lower then the mob lvl, the party mobs give double xp/sp" , btw only the party mobs give double exp/vary .

So level 90 character + level 20 character (example for a farming character) + 2 level 10 characters , party average would be 32.5 , so slightly less than the level of ong (33) .

Numbers may vary .

The higher the level of the powerfarming character and the farming character , the more low levels they will need .
