I saw a PT named "85-87 Taxi +8 SUN 110 WIZ". And I was like WTH? So I looked him up on REV6 and turns out it's true:

Was there an update that I've forgotten? I remember reading something about they forgot some D12 stones, but they added them later? So is D12 alchemy as easy as the rest except from spending Silk?

EDIT 2: I asked hiim about the DMG on lvl 1 mobs in zerk, he said he hadn't tried yet. But the dmg on lvl 87 mobs without zerk was 170k with devil spirit

Why is this shocking? D12 alchemy is still as hard as ever, the only diff is only ppl with $$$ can try a lot. There's already a few D12 Legend (SUN) +12 weps already, and +12 is max.

Kinda makes sense though... you're a wiz, why bother pimping gear when it really just comes down to who hits who first. With that staff, if he gets the attack off he wins.

Plus gear doesn't matter so much. With euro buffs even he can be near impossible to kill.

Yeah that's what I'm talking about. A wiz already has really good damage, but low defense. So what do you think like the best investment, a better weapon or a good set?

Gotta agree mate, ofcourse they will never be tankers but being able to withstand 4/5/6 hits opposed to 1 or 2 will make a huge diff. I do think getting max dmg from your char as a wiz has priority but you shouldn't just skip your def, it is possible to semi tank lol

YeahI'm not saying that they should be able to TANK, but it's a plus not to get killed by 1 attack while getting to your PT...

Take my chars for an exampel. On my nuker, what did I get first? I made a decent set with almost maxed Str points and maxed HP boosts (i'm missing 4 str points atm). Got some parry rate and also Int and MP boosts but not maxed. And then I started to look for some nice weapons.

And on my blader, I started looking for some nice weapons. I found some and I'm now working on my set.

It's simple, get what you need most. A wiz in LC, let's say that he does 20k dmg on mobs his own lvl (i'm guessing they do something like that at 105+) and he gets killed by 1 hit by the same mobs. Now, what should I get, hmmm... Yeah I'm gonna get a weapon that make me hit 30+k and still get killed by 1 attack

just because he made +12 doesn't make him stupid. Afaik this guy had immortality set before. For now its too early to to have best 12D gears cuz of prices of stones. and these kind of guys have around few 8/8 pt's so he probably had his other gears in other chars. with that staff he doesn't need good gears cuz he is 1 hitting everyone. I also don't think that he spend that much silk cuz I think he made from +7 to +12 straight. but idk how much he spend making +7, I'll ask him personally when I have time to log-in.

Almost every wizard I've met, has been like this. I met this dude, he asked me to look at his armor and tell him what I thought of it (this was last week). The guy had only used Int stones on his armor, and only MP boost. The people who play as a wizard (most of them) are so obsessed of dealing more, and more, AND MORE damage!

So anyway, I told the guy to invest in Str points and a nice HP boost. And then I asked him what his current HP was, he answered "5,6k". I told him that I had 11,2k HP and he was like "WAAAAAAH". So I told him to get some Str points, and he said "Good point "

Why can't people see that you need some balance?

90% of players who have Wizs as their main are Turks or kids. They simply want the high number and the kill. They don't care how they do it. If they can kill you, they think they're better. Regardless of the number of times they died trying to do it.

But let me help you out guys. As a wizard he can even go without gears.
His guild / union never pvps 1vs1..

They always use their 24/7 bards + warriors they have standing in samarkand.
So yeh he can go with a 9D npc set. Only thing he needs is a beasty weapon to kill everybody.

However his set isnt really blued either =P Cuz last time I hitted him with a absolute of just 17k and he died ^^ While most FB wizards survive such a hit.

the wiz has 10d set and you say it doesnt matter as long as he has MAX attack..

incase you forgot 10d = 6 int/str max on single item
12d = 8 str/int

D10 = 11 items (set, acc & weap) = 11x6=66 str/int
D12 = 11x8=88 str/int
