Dang, people still play this game? What is the game like now

Is silkroad still grindy as it was 4-5 years ago?
Do they still put up new servers like every month?

Word, 110 cap ruined this game completely. 100 cap was alright, 90 was pretty sweet, but now it's kinda ruined. Though I still play ^^

The game is now 1000x better than before, we got a better alchemy system, more parties going on, and the job system got a big improvement, it's now the best way to gain money, and the best of all, no more botting, Joymax blocked all bot programs, all loaders N shit, 120 cap is coming, we got like 3 events all at once, it's the best time to come back, silkroad's golden era *wink*.

Same as before bud. Just escalated more and more and more. Promises and little action. Nothing more to say really, game had potential and it was destroyed a long time ago.

¤-There are ~ 45 servers now but there weren't any new ones in 5 months (newest :Azteca) .

¤-There is a lack of low level parties .

¤-You can get a lot of gold easily by buying and reselling .

¤-There is a legit movement in Azteca for now .

¤-Leveling is slow but if you are talking to someone while leveling , it can go fast .

¤- Entering servers isn't hard for most servers .

¤- There are some bot infested areas .

¤-Joymax blocked 3rd party programs but some bots already bypassed that .

¤- You can buy silk items by ingame gold (trade or buy from other people) .

¤- Grinding skill points is tediously slow , but if you keep 4 gap and don't take every skill , you want have to grind !

¤- There are statues of justice that disconnects any one in there range , it is supposed to be an anti bot method .

¤- Cap is currently 110 but expect it to be raised to 120 in a couple of months .

¤- Things that weren't here 5 years ago :
Hotan , Alexandria , consigment , Forgotten world , Hotan and jangan Fortresses , Job temple , Different job system , Jobs skills and gear , Euro race , Better alchemy system , Socket stones , A lot of grinding places and mobs , etc .

No i didn't mean the fort , i meant the city .

I know that Hotan has been here for years but i don't know exactly when , since 5 years is 2006 and it was at the very start of the game , i supposed it wasn't made yet .

Btw When was it added to Isro as i didn't find that on google .

I played SRO for the first time back in june-august of 2006 and iirc Hotan was there back in then. Maybe it was added rather quickly after the game was made? After all it doesn't take so long time to reach 40+ so a map for 40+'s maybe was needed quickly.

Game is awesome except for the lack of community, insane sp farming requirements, and imbalanced leveling speed for euros compared to chinese.

Btw When was it added to Isro as i didn't find that on google .

since the game came out... 2004 or 2005... level cap was 60 with yetis being the cap. hotan has always been there

A lot has been added, and --- gosh I wish they would not update 12d so soon, I have not even finished 11d goals yet --- getting Count (Baron was hard enough), Gathering silver coins, Doing FGW, finishing Quests (some are downright hard to finish), Trying on a new skill set, Getting a better Job suit, Getting a higher Job Rank, --- lol they are rushing the game too much. SLOW DOWN JOYMAX! I wish they read this forum too...

@ElfeR The game is at its worst now. The triangular conflict is now gone. Only hardcore addicts are not left playing with their bot parties.

It was only a few weeks between the release of the two servers , doesn't really matter , Azteca is more active anyway .

I didn't find the release date anywhere , so i just added it and i remember reading an update called Hotan (VI plus update or whatever) .
