so why do my name turn purple if i attack back at someone who is attacking me first? how do i get rid of them without making my name purple or red?

Ignore them? If they kill you they turn red. If they are purple, you attack back and you turn purple and then he kills you he wont turn red (same for you if you kill him). Purple status disappears after like 20 secs.

If you attack someone that is purple - you turn purple
Purple status goes away after approximately 20 seconds

Turing red (Murder) is only when you kill someone that is not Purple or Red.

You will NOT turn purple if you kill someone that is RED (afaik)

It gets annoying when you are walking and someone attacks you for no reason ,
It is already a low chance to drop anything valuable .

If someone hits me once , i will let it go , but if he hits twice , i will try my best to kill him or die trying (lol) .

I survived everyone that tried to kill me except for one that killed me in 1 hit .

Dropping nova legend and immortality pieces in murder FTW....

The other day, someone was red to me, i killed him, and went purple...
Could he have been purple, but due to me not seeing him until he was purple caused him too look red, glitch?

That's why i don't kill people in murder , it can get me killed (depends on gear) or i can get murder myself (if the glitch still work) or i simply don't like getting people out of thier items .
unless they attack first , i won't attack them .

It is a high chance to drop anything in your inventory or your equipped gear (except weapon) while at murder , so be careful .

You wont drop any sealed item while in murder, EXCEPT for egyptian nova.

By "egyptian" Nova , you mean Nova in general or the immortal,legend,A,B Novas .

wow didnt know that if they attacked you back you wouldnt turn red...

So attack someone with normal hit , let him attack back then you kill him and you don't get murder (and if lucky , he will drop an item) .

You will get pink if you attack him back , at least for now .

So basicly if you don't attack back , you will make him get murder .

Has anyone ever dropped an item while in purple?

If you die while in purple , you will have the same chance to drop an item as when you get killed by a mob or another player , you will probably drop a potion or so .

So yes it is possible but not a high chance .

This new pk system reminds me of L2...
However I doubt u can drop anything if u die while purple.

Someone attacks me => turn off auto pot.
