Black Res is IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Srsly, with just 1 warrior/cleric, a fight can NEVER end...

Joymax really needs to remove that skill completely, it sucks.

We went to the kill the job cave uniques, 5 thieves. We run into a party of 8 euros, tough right? NP, we manage to kill them all, cept the warrior who instantly teleports and runs away. He comes back and resses the other cleric and boom, endless cycle of black res. We killed their entire team like 9 times over the course of 30 mins. After that they managed to gather another party so it's 16 vs 5. Black res should have a cooldown time similar to the mask-making skill or something. Like 30 mins or an hour minimum. So you can only use it once in a fight. If we had a warrior, like a few nights ago, it would've been a res war for hours...

Anyone else see a plus side to black res? Just seems to make the game fcked up.

I don't mind getting raped if it was a decent fight. Watching idiots run around in black res for 30 mins until another party shows up to back them up is just lame.

Last time I went we had a cleric of our own. That fight lasted almost 3 hours. We left out of sheer boredom. Same group of 8v8. Black res makes fights boring. There's almost no risk anymore, you die, you come back and are safe for a good 5 mins while fcking around.

There use to be a few counters to black res. But joymax removed them. 1 was rouge scorn spam to prevent the cleric from resing people. But joymax added 30 sec cooldown to stop that. 2 was warlock panic that worked through holy spell making it possible to kill a black resed person, joymax also put a stop to that too.

If they can increase cooldown to scorn, surely black res cooldown can be increased....

Black ress needs something like you can only ress the person once in 30 to 45 minutes. with the skill, after that normal ress only.

That should help alot. I try not to use black ress while I use my euro, I know how gay the skill is.. I tend to try to stay away from group fights they always end up black ress events and a battle of who is willing to be the most annoying..

Another bug similar to black res.

When jobbing, a low lvl can run up to you and kill your transport, but when you kill him, he can instantly res himself. So basically you can kill him all you want, you won't be able to summon or get your transport to town.

It's stupid that even though you can kill someone over and over, they will always come back invincible for a good 3 or 5 mins. It sucks cuz the bigger the party, the harder it is to completely kill them due to black res. Also makes big pvp like fw stupid. 8-man party can make it all the way to the heart thanks to black res, unless the ENTIRE guild comes and attacks them non-stop.

Normally no, but in the job cave where the uniques are hitting you for 10-15k, it gets annoying. Not to mention the warriors start spamming kb kd dull etc. while they are in black res.

Not necessarily. A simple solution is:

Reduce Black res time to only once every hour. Normal res is once every 15 mins. Cleric heal is related to int points, not rod. Warrior needs a longer cooldown on dd or reduce the chance of kb.

Euros having high dmg i'm cool with. It's the heals and res that pisses me off the most. Without it, they crumple when they solo. This would actually make euros the race it was meant to be. You need an INT cleric to keep the party alive while the warrior buffs and bards reduce dmg. Not 1 warrior cleric keeping an 8-man team alive through black res and fencing. That's also the reason a lot of noobs are able to bring their bots to pvp. You don't really need to do much at all, just let the pure str spam heals. Not like anyone is gonna kill a warrior while he's fenced and in immolation mode.

I was pvping a warrior buddy and when he spams kb kd etc. It's almost as bad as bower spamming kb. You can't really attack back at all...

Good ideas, but I have a really good idea for wizards. Reduce their dmg so that when they use LT they do the same ammount of damage as they do today without it, maybe a little bit higher. But today it's just way to high damage when using LT...

Those are great ideas. That would make Chinese Force users more wanted in pts.
We should also get the update where the u must have the rod on in order to have Bless Spell on this way u can't attack by urself when u want more survivability. Same with warrior buffs.

Yep, only people that would miss it is turks that spam noob because they can 1 hit you in LC even though they are only lvl 68 while you are 85 and they have a SUN staff... (Yes it has happened and I have pics of it)

i guess u can stay optimistic, but think back to the last time joymax actually did any balancing in this game, or even change any class dramatically after updates. clearly joymax thinks they created a perfect game with perfect classes. only time they actually i've heard of JM changing any skill was the holy spell on ksro(100% resist down to like 50% or something).
