[Weekly Inspection] Weekly Server Inspection Notice

Hello. This is Silkroad Online.

In order to maintain a pleasant gaming and smooth patching experience, all servers will be undergoing weekly server inspection.

Weekly server inspection will occur every Tuesday.

Game Inspection Period : Mar 08, 2011 13:00~16:00 Silkroad Standard Time (3 hours duration)

[Game Update]
-GM Gone Loco Event will be ended
-Shadow of the Sphinx Event will be opened

[Web Update]
-‘Passion with Fashion’ Event will be ended

Part 1. The hidden scheme of Osiris

Ever since the founding of Alexandria, Osiris has been brewing a malicious plan to take over Silkroad and control it by himself. His first act started by sending Sphinx to lure man with treasures in exchange for answers to his riddles.

The men who were not able to answer the sphinx riddles were
killed and their bodies are transformed to monsters to be a part of Osiris’s dark Army.

And now that he needs to gather more minions for his evil plan, He has unleashed more of his Sphinx Minions to wreck havoc among the Silkroad residents and start his invasion.

Now it is up to the mighty Silkroad adventurers to Unite and stop Osiris and cleanse Silkroad of his evil minion, the Sphinx.

[Event Period]
March 8 ~ April 5, 2011 Silkroad Standard Time (4 weeks)

[Event Procedure]
1. GM will announce the start of the event in-game and will announce the location of the event.
2. GM and the sphinx will appear in-game. The sphinx will ask for a riddle.
3. Players should answer the sphinx’s riddle in order to proceed to the next stage.
4. If player gave the correct answer, Sphinx Uniques will spawn and players must eliminate all of them. GM will record the time when
the entire Sphinx unique spawns has been vanquished.
5. GM will announce the second location of the event.
6. Osiris Uniques will spawn and players must eliminate all of them. GM will record the time when the entire Osiris unique spawns has been vanquished.
7. GM will add the first and the second recorded hunting time for the Uniques and that will be the server’s time record.
8. At the end of the event period, the player who will answer the riddle will receive a prize and top 3 servers which took the fastest killing time will receive a server wide reward.

[Prize]
Top 3 servers with the fastest killing time will get 20% EXP increase from April 12- 19, 2011, at 00:00- 06:00 Silkroad Standard Time
The Player who will be able to answer the Sphinx’s in-game riddle will be given a 10th degree Seal of Moon necklace.

Part 2. Mystery of the Sphinx

I am a beast from ancient age.
My story was told by countless sage.

I guard gates where treasures lie.
I exchange wisdom for a pass.
But one wrong answer shall be your last.

[Event Period]
March 8 ~ April 5, 2011 Silkroad Standard Time (4 weeks)

[Event Procedure]
1. A Silkroad Online riddle and screenshot will be posted on the Official website at 00:00 Silkroad Standard time.
2. Players should unscramble the screenshot to get the clue.
3. Then player should search for the answer to the riddle (Place, NPC, Item, Quest) and take a screenshot.
4. The player should submit the screenshot in Community Weekly Best Screenshot section with the title 'Mystery of the Sphinx’ and write the answer of the riddle in the content.
5. Screenshot and riddle will be changed after 48 hours. A total of 14 riddles and screenshots will be posted during the event period.

[How to submit the screenshot?]
1. Upload the screenshot in an Image Hosting site.
2. Login to our Silkroad official website and visit Community> Weekly Best.
3. Press submit then check if your character name is selected.
4. Write 'Mystery of the Sphinx’ in the subject then select screenshot option
5. Write URL of the image that you uploaded in the image hosting site.
6. Write the answer to the riddle in the content then press ok.

[Prize per Riddle]
The first three entries with the correct screenshot and answer to the riddle will be selected.

1st place: 10th Degree Seal of Sun Weapon
2nd place: 10th Degree Seal of Moon Weapon
3rd place: 10th Degree Seal of Star Weapon

**Notice**
- The list of winners per riddle will be posted on Silkroad Online website every 2 days.
- Upon posting of the next riddle, any submitted entries for the previous riddle will not be accepted.
- Prizes will be based on the equipped weapon of the character during the provisioning time.
- Equipment prize is +0 and does not have any magic options.
- Players should leave an empty slot in his characters’ inventory on April 12, 2011 otherwise the item will not be provided.

Hello, this is Silkroad Online.

In our upcoming new update, Legend 7, we are going to compensate all our players who have cash items that will be adjusted in the update such as, premium transport pets and character job level reset.

1. Premium transport pets such as White elephant, Five Horned Rhinoceros or Buffalo will be compensated with Premium silk.
2. Behemoth Transportation, job suit and Thief town return scrolls that were bought using gold will be compensated with gold.
(For Behemoth, gold will be compensated but guild point will not be compensated)
3. Special goods or any quests related in trade will be reset.
4. Data related in Job such as alias will be reset and job registration fee will also be compensated with gold (current level * 5,000gold)
5. Job level will be compensated with skill points as stated below:

I knew about the sp rewards from ksro, but I'm just glad Joymax finally officially announced it as well. I'm currently trying to get to lvl 4 thief. I really hope I'll get there before next Tuesday

10k* And IIRC you are force to choose a new job after this update and you will be compensated for the lvl you are on your current job. So yes, get to lvl 2 before the update and you get 10k sp I think.

They announced rise of the hunter/thief thing over a week ago, and people have already been saying the whole job level/sp thing. Less QQ more pew pew.
