I checked multiple servers, went all the way to different cities and I literally saw like 5-10 people in each town. How am I suppose to buy items and you know, socialize if there is no one there? Are only specific servers populated or what because I couldn't find a group of people who actually talked or anything.

edit: I played years ago by the way and the starter towns alone would be FULL of stalls and people selling things, I only saw like...maybe 3 stalls? At the beginning when I logged in.

you can always try the latest fad server.

A year ago the starter town, Jangan would be full due to the end lvl content being there, aka Chin Tomb.

Now the end game content is in a new city, Alexandria. Also, the stalls are all located mostly in Hotan now due to new stall consignment system.

Since everyone is a high lvl now and this game is over 5 or 6 years old now, there aren't many new beginners. So basically, unless you join a BRAND NEW sever, there won't be many ppl there.

Okay so if I wanted to buy a SOS 16 bow to do the old school SP farming method, where should I look for that?

Okay well that explains the lack of stalls. I guess now I have to find out a new SP farming method since I don't have a high level to power farm me like the other guy suggested..

Is the game still severely infested with bots? When I say infested, I mean INFESTED. I quit the game several years ago because if you're a non-premium player, it'll probably take you 2-3 hours to log in during peak hours and once you log in, your training area would be swarming in bots -- both gold bots and 'high profile' players. You'll find at least 10-15 bots in the town, lined up in front of an npc, and about 10-20 of them per field. There's almost no chance for legit players in the game since even if you manage to get 1 or 2 SoSuns, every high level bot has a full set and high +. The trades were mostly protected by the high profile botters (and gold buyers) using p2k edit to see through stealth/invisible. And everyone hated people from Turkey.

Anything changed yet or is the same old shitty SRO?

Needless to say, I started the game a year or 2 before the Euro expansion so it was a few months before the "bot era"

IGN was inkblood on Olympus.

The game is alrite man.
esp on azteca, reminds me of old school sro a tiny bit.

Anyone joining sro again should join azteca server.

lol...O and P were giving me problems last night.

And if you check the server statistics on that other site during a time of normal traffic, you can see which servers are being maintained by JM and which aren't. Most of the new ones peak at about 75%. The old ones can still get maxed out.
