I was wondering where they went, i noticed server population is back to crowded again because they are gone ^^

Anyone noticed that it happened after since Mubarak left? coincidence? I don't think so

that was just a front to give us some false hope for this game. Statue of justice is still in game but not in bot infested area and gold bot easily bypass them

I watched them kill a few waves of bots but most passed it.

I think bots are set up with avoid it or so, and smarter bots are going around those statues... As I heard there are autowalk installed.

Or they just have many scripts to switch between, cos the statues can only be repositioned during inspecton and there are only a few different spots where they put them.

They've taken my dog out so much times, makes me cry :'(

Nah I had a statue that was put up in Mena mid week south of Samarkand. I know it wasn't there because I was using the path to get to Ongs for a couple hours every time I had to restock/sell my loot and then after about 4 times of using the path (I like to click on the sky then browse the internet while my character runs for a minute or so) I checked on my guys progress and I am sitting dead underneath a Statue...

This is the 2nd time I have died by this statue... the first time was when I first started playing again (Made a str bower back at 60 cap and then a wiz at 80 cap) and I saw the statue and went right through it and it pwned me.

Hope there isn't a small limit to the deaths by these on your account before you get banned

I bet those that are missing, had one of the recent emergency inspection. Haven't logged on yet today, but afaik, Azteca hasn't had one, and the statues have been there all week.

they can be put in at anytime. GM's can spawn them like they do uniques. i was riding my horse out to my grind spot and wasnt paying attention (sky clicking) and ran right into one. i know it wasnt there before cause i had to go back to town twice since i for got to repair.

Well, then it's quite fail. U could just ride around and one could just spawn in front of u, unless these mobs are like any other that wait some time after spawned before running after u.

they're stationary mobs so they dont chase you but i see what you mean. idk if they have that 5 sec buffer zone like other mobs do when they spawn.

Yeah i know, they still have a nice range.

Well then that's just bad design if that's the case. They should have the statue positions set up as variables read from a text file (for example). Then at any moment, a GM could change that one file on the server to change each statue's position to anywhere on the entire map. Maybe only allow certain GMs, or some other employee, to change the coordinates.
