realy? I though that just inactive accounts were unbanned not those banned by botting.

As far as I'm concern they will only unban those account who had been banned due to inactivity, not those accounts that got banned due to botting or any other offense that broke the terms and conditions. Come on Guys, I know Joymax is bad but not that bad.

yep, they use to ban inactive account. If 6 months or more that you didn't log-in that account you will get ban.

the TOS says that if you account used to buy premium, that it won't be cleared due to inactive.

unless it changed it think it was 1 year for accounts with silk.

Lol it makes no sense, i stop playing for 6 months then i want to play again and i have to start a new char.. thats just lol

Longer than that, I checked to see if my char was still alive after >1 year and it was. Think it was lifetime for characters with silk as there is more chance that if said player comes back they'll buy more.

Tired of there always being that one contradictory pessimist, be glad for once.
Maybe they were listening to all the complaints about people's accounts being banned, and thought,"Hey, we're slowly making this game better and attracting old players back. Why shouldn't they be able to play?"

I've been playing since 05 I have long since given up on that "be glad for once attitude" with JM.

Last time I played this game was mid 2007 and I had bought some silk. I quit about a month later because it was impossible to login and the next time I logged in was a month ago today.

Lol I just checked, my account is unbanned. It had SoSuns and such.

It was banned for trolling the original silkroad forums.

Also.. how much do santa sets sell for now? Got shit loads on that account.

Last time I was on xian, they were like 200m or something.

Last I read the TOS, it said inactive accounts "may" be banned for inactivity. Six months for non-silk, 1 year for silk. That means you could possibly get banned for being inactive, but might not.

I have to wonder why they don't just delete accounts that have gone inactive, especially ones that have never had silk. I don't think it's a storage issue because when they ban accounts, the data would still be there wouldn't it? If they ban AND delete, what's the point? Just delete the account and when the user tries to log on, they are greeted with a "you are not a member of Joymax, click to register" error message.

Your account got deleted and you want to play 2 years later? Joymax should be able to restore an account from backups. They DO backup their data don't they?
