In case you haven't heard, there are no more IPv4 addresses on the internet to assign, and there is gonna be a transition to start using IPv6. My question, will this affect SRO in any way?

because there are so many IP's there is no public and private IP's at least from what I heard. Plus it is kinda buggy because Windows actually has a back door with IPv6 that people can use to gain access to your computer.

No, it won't affect the game. At least not at all.
This issue is pumped up by the media, just like everything else have been. It's not like all internet in the world will go down for several weeks. Just think about it, if that happened we wouldn't be able to do anything. Schools wouldn't be able to work correctly, the finansial market would freak out (you know they will), larger websites will loose billions in revenue. Let's just say it's not gonna happen.
Besides, the people in charge are not morons! Of course they have a plan of how to get through this as easily as possible. I bet the internet will not even be down for 3 days, lol. But let's wait and see

It shouldn't even be down for 1. They plan to use IPv4 and IPv6 at the same time and slowly move to a pure IPv6 environment
It is basically all based on DNS really. You have nothing to do with the IP to begin with.
