Passive Mobs??

I have made up my mind, I'm gonna play Bard/Wizard. I need location where I can train from Level 1-80 where there are only passive mobs available, or mobs with no giants or champions. I have been playing Chinese char ever since, so I don't really know where to grind as Bard/Wizzie from 1-80, cuz mostly I can find pt unless I reach lv80++

any pro Bard/Wizzie advice? Screenshots would help a lot, and I wanna know the fastest way to level up as solo. I'm gonna play in Azteca btw, gonna catch up with my friends there.

I know that, not all the time you can outrun giants and champions. =(

get an attack pet. have it attack the giant while you use ice bolt, snow wind, ice bolt, earth shock, ice bolt. if you get mobbed by a champion or casting an attack, fireblow is the best move to take care of any mob thats caught you by surprise. youll be using fear, root and lightning knockback to interupt or immobolize those giants. make sure to use earth barrier as often as possible but dont spam it if you dont need it. firetrap is also a great move to take care of mobs that are hit by aoe and are coming toward you.

Lightning + Vigor's + Ice and you should be fine. If cautious, use Protector Gear.

hmm Prot with wiz bard?

OnT: what others said, noise, grab pets, and fear helps a lot, also a good spot is for begginers

Yeowas
Chakjis
and there are a lot more but can't remember....

having bards clamor is also helpful so you have two binds incase root fails.

I have been playing silkroad for a long time, but I have never played any euro build (well, I have tried once but quit before reaching lv20 cuz of pots delay)

I'm going to be unfarmed bard/wizzie. probably only gonna get firebolt and icebolt as wizzard attack skills.

or should I just go bard all the way?

being unfarmed is fine but dont pass up on important wizard aoe skills since theyre very powerful and can attack multiple mobs. you can gap and save on sp by having a level 20 mastery but keep wizard and bard skills at level 16. if you dont want to farm at all just level up bard for moving speed and noise but if you plan to party in the future then tambours, mana cycle and dances are a must.

Advice: you're gonna die a lot at first, be prepared for it. At least that's what it was like for me when I first tried euro wiz...

Personally, that's what I did until about lvl 20, but I started to opt for more attack power with wizard skills.

If you're gonna be on your own, wizard will help you get out of a pinch. Pt play, more bard than wizard.

soooo. about this wiz/bard thing. i'm gonna throw in my own question too.
lvling advice beginning around 36ish? preferrably mobs that give euro weapon drops? my only gripe is getting a weapon drop without having to spend money on a good staff.
i hear it gets better once you move to hotan area, but i don't know.

btw. i'm not broke. just being a miser.

^^go ongs, try to find a spot, they will drop you 32 weps, so you might get a staff :). then just slowly move up, huns, then sungs, if you want to stay in a euro area. :)

So why play wiz bard then? and not cleric if you gonna be on passive mobs anyways.
