Hey, so I was playing FW [Toqui Village 35-50] and doing The Phantom of the Crimson Blood Collection quests. I had all 8 quests - including that one that gives me 8th degree Sun item.

I've finished 7 of them, and by logic you have to update your Collection Book for that chapter to obtain Sun item. I turned in one quest, but my Collection Book remained the same - all gray with nothing opened. However, when I press H and go to quest list, the quest names I've finished are written gray.

Am I missing something out? Has anyone obtained Sun this way, and how does one update Collection Book?

I believe the other quests don't have anything to do with the collectionbook i believe you get tickets really Rarely and randomly from the uniques in the instance and then your collectionbook gets updated.

I think that you can get 8D Seal of Star with that quest. For the Seal of Sun, you need to kill the boxes in Toqui Village. There are 2 boxes (they look like pandora boxes) in FW and if you kill them, you might get a card. They are quite rare though. You can get cards from the last unique too. And you can do quests for 8/9 Seal of Star, but that quests aren't related to that collection book. You don't need any quests for the collection book, just quite a lot luck.^^

Yes it does from what i hear 6 of the 8 are easy to get but the last 2 are REALLY hard to get and have to be gotten in the 4 star run's but not sure of this thoug.

I have updated my book, and I don't know how to see it again just to check.

is there a button that could make me see the book to check what talisman's im missing?

Click on Menu and it will say Collection Book in that row

How can i open my collection book?

Question: Where do you all get the quest? Is it in the FW or at a NPC in Hotan or something?

Togui Village quest are scattered through Hotan (7 of them) and one starts in Jangan.
If you want detailed list of quest, details where to obtain them press H, go to quests and find quests that you want

But how do I know what the names of the quests are? I mean, yeah, it's good to have a quest list but I can't use it if I don't know which quests exactly to look for.

Just read quest information, I'm sure you can figure it out and draw few conclusions that its directed to your Forgotten World.

Yeah, sure. I was just a bit confused as I suddenly saw 25 quests and didn't know where to start. I figured it out now

For shipwreck:


Get the Sea collection quest. Only one needed.

Go to a Shipwreck 3 (100% talisman drops.)

Hope for the best that you get one.
Right click it, a popup appears.

And you can insert it into your book.

(They are tradeable as well. ^^)
