sos/som/sosun cheap to use?

me and my friends, 4 of us in total, got beginner prem and it comes with a magic pop card, we all used it but i got a lvl 76 eu sosun shield. and now that were 76 they are all complaining that its cheap that im using it.
im warrior/warlock
the others are
warrior/cleric
warlock/cleric
bard/cleric
we are all FF, and even before when we were 8d, i won against all of them (except the warlock/cleric sometimes) because i was just better at weapon switches. we usually do 2v2 pvp me and the warlock/cleric vs the other 2.
is it REALLY that cheap to use a sosun shield?

it doesnt really make them die faster so much as make you die slower, but should their bad luck handicap your potential in pvp? someone has to lose, once you pass use of the said item im sure theyll pass the buck to another member who has a +5 in stead of everyones +3 etc, etc.

Nope. That's just the game, they can qq all they want, but they need to face it. If everything was about fairness in pvp everyone would wear NPC gear. Might as well throw alchemy or any other sock item out the window. That's PVP.
Do you have an advantage over them? Yes, you do. Are they acting like little bitches? Yes, they are.

They lose not because you have a sosun shield - I bet it helps - but that bard/cleric isn't great in PvP, even with a warrior for assistance.
I pvp'd a FF 85 warlock/cleric last week, it was pretty rare for me to kill him. Interrupting spells, sleep, disease, etc. I got him 2 out of 5 with my 83 bard/cleric with a 3 gap.

You won it so **** them, if you want to make it more fair just get a +5 shield. If you still win you can go back to the sun cuz it doesn't matter then rofl.
