Forgotten World soon in iSRO? / New Job system

In today's iSRO update you can see that Joymax translated a lot of Forgotten World texts to English.
Examples:

Legacy of God - Togui Village
A world filled with evil magic and wicked energy
Legacy of God - Flame Mountain
A world in which intense flame puts out hellish heat
Legacy of God - Shipwreck
An abysmal world filled with various monsters and ghost pirates

Crystallization of a Togui's tears. The ominous redness reminds one of blood, and yet, it has the kind of beauty that cannot be described with words. Historical records show how treasured it was in that that these red tears, which can only be created by Toguis, were offered to the Emperor as a gift after the generals eradicated the Toguis. Its beauty created much jealousy among gem cutters who then attempted to cut something that would come close to it. Yet, of all the red gems, there was none that could match up to the beauty of the red tears.
In Donhwang of China, a story is told of a young man who was killed by the townsfolk after becoming a Togui by eating strange ingredients in order to create a gem to give to his lover.

Bah, posting all the stories here would result in endless walls of text so I'll stop here. You can read them anyways when iSRO gets the update - which might be quite soon since they prepared the texts now :P

What information do we get about the new job system?

- It seems like you are able to get recipes to produce weapons, equipment and accessories with jobbing (Translated weapon description: Materials for production of assistive devices is the lowest level attacks. For Hunter.)
- You will need special stones to produce these equipments (Translated stone description: Is used to manufacture minor professional equipment)
- Runes that give you some STR/INT/HP/MP bonus can be gained. Not sure how...
- New job ranks will exist (at least for hunter and thief)
- 5 Job Skill Masteries will be added

Skill masteries: (crappy translation, i dont care :P)
Musical instruments

Flute and trumpet blowing skills are polished. To spread festive ring of traders playing the music, led by donkeys and horses, the cows were gathered.

Space utilization

Space more efficiently to develop their skills in writing. Mastering this technology for traders to use their writing pockets and backpack, he said.

Guards made

Transportation and manufacturing technology to protect the protectors are polished. Production of high-level guards to the destination of transportation will increase chance of surviving.

Masters of Transportation

Laden with a quick shift more to develop their skills. Improved technology, the more you can load at a time siteul can leave more profit.

Cattle mustering

Effectively to develop their skills in driving cattle. Faster means of transportation because driving to shorten trading hours trading activity over time can be effective.

Well, this looks very interesting. I hope the new system brings more fun in the game since job activities are very rare at the moment - in almost every version of the game.

Sounds nice

2nd Skill seems to affect Traders and make it so they can transport more goods while trading (backpack or something)

3rd skill to cast NPC guards to protect the trades

4th one seems to means transport more goods like 1st one

Last one, you can do trade faster as transports walks faster

But the first one, can't guess anything lol translation is too weird.

And I'm curious about the receipe system, will it affect only jobbing or not? It says its only for hunter...

You probably quit a long time ago, else you would know the job system isn't that dead.

i agree hopefully this will bring back job wars. i just feel it would have been more useful back when there were lots of union/guild trades and the job system was really active. more people would have gotten more use out of it and it could have prevented the system from dying

SRO is also for players who couldn't care less about the cap.

Hard to justify that when the game focuses on leveling.

i tried playing the game. not only the leveling is f*cked up, but the economy has been totally f*cked also. I mean low level SOX items are even more rare than NOVA items :?

plus the inflation made everything too damn expensive.

I couldn't agree more about the economy. Things are way too expensive. Although low level SOS being so rare may just be because so many people are too high level to care about, or grind for (drops) low level items anymore.

I don't get a chance to log on too often, but when I do, I can never find any 8D SOS blades, especially sun. There was a time where 8D Sun was quite popular.

Not that I could afford one...

Compared to when it was Crowded BEFORE botting. yes it is. it always had over 3k when Bots were still a rare sight and gold bots were even rarer.

The low level Sox items are lost. What I mean - i had a second guild lvl 5 just to have where to store all the sox i had. I was collecting a lot of them back then, so that when a new player comes i could give him/her a good set and a weapon to 7d. Most of the sets and weapons got lost by the people i gave them to and many others i just sold to npc, because it was useless to keep them and it took too much time to stall them. So i guess many others did similar as me... that's why there are no low lvl sox.

So your comparing the game to when it first came out? Whats that 60cap?

So if you think like that.. you think the games been dead ever since 70cap.

Yeah.. your clever.

How Laughable. Botting has been around since then sure, but it didn't really break out into "Legit guild non-existent" until around 80 cap.

So we're talking another 6 months or so.

In that case you're saying SRO has been dead for the past 4 caps?

1 question: How long ago did you quit? And how long did you play for? (thats 2 questions actually)

Botters are still active players.
