Every player started and experienced being a newbie. As a celebration of this particular phase of our SRO lives, we will be having not one but two cool events especially made for our dear newbie players!
[Event Period] October 26 ~ November 9, 2010 Silkroad Standard Time (2 weeks) (2 weeks)
[Event Schedule] On the first week, each server will have the Fun Run Event and on the second week, Newbie Scavenger Hunt event. Fun Run Event will be launched after server inspection on Oct 26, 2010 and ends on Nov 1, 2010 Newbie Scavenger Hunt Event will be launched on Nov 2, 2010 and will be finished before server inspection on Nov 8, 2010
[Event Procedure] During the Newbie Festival, new and lower level players can come and join in the 2 events:
I. Fun Run Event 1. An in-game announcement will be made to herald the start of the event. 2. Players can register for the event by sending an in-game mail to the officiating GMs in the server. 3. The GMs will list the first 20 participants. 4. The GMs will then teleport the participants to the designated race track. 5. GM will signal the start of the race. Players must reach the end of the track and must then proceed to the stall of the GM on the other side of the race track. 6. The first player to purchase a newbie item from the stall of the GM will win. [Event Prize] Winners will receive the following prizes: 1st Place: 1 winner - 5D SOS weapon Consolation prize: 19 winners - 1 Million Gold each **Notice** Only players who are level 20 and below may join the event. Players should not use any buffs, potions and vehicle pets, GM’s decision is final.
II. Newbie Scavenger Hunt 1. An in-game announcement will be made to herald the start of the event. 2. The GM will announce the items of the day and the required number of items that he/she wants players to bring to him/her. 3. Players will search and gather the required items outside the town. 4. After completing the required items, player will find the GM on certain locations in town. Players will tell the GMs that he had completed the required items. 5. The first player to exchange the items to the GM will win the event. [Event Prize] Winners will receive the following prizes: 1st Prize: 5 pcs Pandora Box 5 pcs Skill Points Scroll 5 million gold 2nd Prize: 3 pcs Pandora Box 3 pcs Skill Points Scroll 3 million gold 3rd Prize: 1 pcs Pandora Box 1 pcs Skill Points Scroll 1 million gold
**Notice** Only players who are level 20 and below may join the event. Winners of the previous events can still join the other events. We hope that our dear newbies will enjoy the event. Good luck and have fun!

Well it was kind of true I think it was indirectly done by joymax they just tried to base the events around combat the main element of the game without adding any level restrictions which lead to high levels dominating looks like they have learnt, loving the new JM

I wouldn't recommend insanity to everyone, but its always worked for me. For me, insanity is super sanity. The normal is psychotic. Normal means lack of imagination, lack of creativity.
Don't bother JM/WEmade or whoever it is that's doing all this with a few grammar mistakes. We should be thankful that the game is no longer on the path of degradation and death but is starting to become alive again.
