We, Joymax,
have been continuously regulating the use of illegal software of some users, in order to ensure an enjoyable gameplay environment for the users of Silkroad Online.
With the active help of our dedicated users, we have greatly improved the gameplay environment of Silkroad Online. Problems with connections have been resolved, and the number of abusive users obtaining in-game items and levelling up using illegal software has also noticeably decreased.
Of course, we are well aware of the fact that we still have a lot of things to improve on. We will continue to regulate illegal software through both technical and policy measures, and will do our best to serve the users until the day we can provide all the users of Silkroad Online with enjoyable and comfortable gaming experience.
Your support and encouragement are necessary for our efforts and resolution to come to fruition. We’d like to ask for your help in spreading the word that Silkroad Online is continuously changing for convenience of the users. Below is a link to a Youtube video that shows improved connection to the Silkroad Online servers; Feel free to post the link on any online communities you frequent,
and help us spread the word about the changes in Silkroad Online. (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQ1wpiawiDk)
We appreciate your continued love and support, and we ask for your continued help in regulating illegal software.

it's true that they are finally doing something,
but they made that "easylogin" guy seem too enthusiastic.
You know a game is messed up when they advertise logging in being a new function

LOL. A grammar natzee should visit them and talk about that "your" and "happend".
Those GMs should stand there all the time and welcome new players and chars named asdfagsds or something.
And yay, 1k posts.

Lol at all those people who replies to that video, and probably people who will soon reply in this thread too, by saying bla bla bla they're too stupid bla bla.
Listen for a second, please! They farked up, yeah, they did. However, they're finally, no matter how late it is, trying to improve the game. So why are you whining?
You're complaining that there are too few real players left in Silkroad. Now, they're advertising that the login system actually works in order to gain some players back, and yet you complain?
I'm glad I'm not the leader of Joymax that has to satisfy so many people, who complaints no matter what you do.
Please keep in mind, I'm not normally defending Joymax in ANY way, but they're actually trying to do something at the moment. I think we should at least just shut up instead of complaining.

But its cool if they are really changing, now they just have to read the last 4 years of GD threads on SRF to know what else they should do

For some reason I find alot of people who play these online games really cant seem to empathize and don't realise that even though Joymax tries to stop the bots..every now and then those pathetic bot companies are going to try as hard as they can to get around it...and eventually they will it is really just a delay going to be hard to ban them forever. I think this is why they are making SRO2 its probably going to be a system that wont be as easy for bots all sro is grinding which enxourages it

I'd like to see a complete overhaul of this game.....like a server whipe and restart.... give all the players/known botters who's been playing a while some gold and silk to restart and remind them that it's either that or a complete ban because we know you've been botting for quite some time. Then the game can start anew with everyone on even ground...

You know, I wouldn't even care if they did it to EVERYONE, but they wouldn't need as many servers.
As for a restart, make the SP gain 5x, and it's not as bad.

they should make it cap 60 with no snow shield all over again. that would defenitly be great and worthy of playing again(imo)

I have 2 points:
1.- "QQ Need more players, more silks buyers" would summarize all that above.
2.- is the beginning of the ending of easy-to-login.
Beside from that, did they made some changes in the staff?

easier would be to remove skill experience and make monster give just skill points on death. Would make farming a whole lot easier.

Quoted for truth.
Stop complaining people. Yes Joymax is several years late, but things are a LOT better than they were about a year ago. Easy login, there are not huge mobs of gold bots all over the map. I don't get to log in very often, but even _I_ can see this. Sure, they have improvements to make, and even Joymax admits it in their message, but it's pretty good so far.

Seems someone mentioned this before but... It'd be great if we could somehow get all of the legit members of the community, across all servers, together and declare our own unofficial cap. We can all just plan to get to lvl 60 or 70 and then stop leveling. Don't play with, or associate with, anyone above that cap.
Then pretty much anyone else that goes above that "cap" is a botter and would be banned. Pretty hard to enforce that community-declared cap though. If we could, maybe Joymax would see that "no one" is playing lvl 71-110, ever. That might prompt them to either remove that part of the game, or make it more accessible to the rest of us.
I'm not holding my breath.

Seems there has been some positive change lately. We'll see how it goes.
