So I'm a pure str bow with a 4 gap at lv21. Even with the fire imbue at lv17 as well as all the buffs from fire/cold/light/bow available up to lv17, the player bots around me are doing at least twice as much damage. And those euro mages...don't even get me started...

My gear isn't that bad. I don't have SoS gear, but I have a decent weapon (lv18 + 1). Can't find the lv21 bow for sale anywhere yet though. Should I do maybe 7:1 str or 5:1 str so that a little bit of int ups my damage and makes me more dangerous? I have over 1.5k hp. Surviving is not a problem at all except against mages (and later on nukers). My damage just sucks too much for people to fear me in PvP.

It will get better. You get attacks with crit increase, stun, knockback. An archer lives on his crits and if you go hybrid you only lower those crits.

At lower lvls, build makes a difference, but not so much at higher lvls, you'll be fine

You'll never be high level.

Gold bots often seem to grind in lower level areas, and wear lower level armour. They probably do more damage because they are 5+ levels above you!

Thanks for the input guys. I think I'll keep it pure str. I'm loving the 1500+ hp at lv21!

And to all those haters, if you don't want to help, don't bother with the flaming cause I REALLY DON'T CARE if you think my threads are "douchy". I make these threads cause I want answers, and I'm gonna continue to make them. So deal with it.

It's just people who dont realise this forum is for Silkroad Online and if people need help or advice so be it, some are a little too soon and with a little looking around you could probably find it yourself instead of making a new topic but eh im guessing they knew every single detail of the game as soon as thhey joined so cant blame em
