MMORPG Graphics, SRO has it

As time goes on graphics for new games are progressively improving.
In some ways it is a good thing but I believe that SRO has the "right" graphics range for an MMORPG.

It seems that MMORPG's with better graphics than SRO seem like cheese. They just don't feel like MMORPG's.
Am I the only one that feels this way, or are you guys visual junkies?

ye i feel the same way too, sro has the perfect graphics, id play wow, but its too cartoony, but fun, and i'd also play runescape,cuz there is so much stuff to do, but the graphics look like crayon...

SRO and 9 Dragons has the best graphics...I think it's the bloom like effect..soft but still vibrant colors of the game environment and skills effect....

OT:
Some newer games try to pack too much action into animations making characters seem like blurry, jerking objects like sometimes seen in rohan.
Other games accentuate the reflections making some places too shiny to see without changing the brightness settings.


Silkroad lacks a dynamic environment and isn't all too flamboyant, but can even impress with the simplest functions.

I wonder what'd happen if Silkroad were to used Unreal Engine lol

i wanna see Runescape in sro graphics would be the best game ever if there was a sought of mix of the two orrr just let SRO be run by jagex, they do such a good job

Depends on the game imo.

WoW's graphics are perfect for WoW's story, gameplay, system, everything. Whereas SRO's graphics suit it better.
