Hello All, here you can talk about The Statue of Justice and what you think about it! the Statue of Justice is placed around Jangan and Constantinople (what i know)..

I think you only get disconnected if you get killed by the Statue. But I'm not sure, i just found out there was a statue.

Yes. D'cing after getting killed is the norm.

it has a big aoe, that may have been why..

or the pain quota bug, someone with PQ on dies, all die and dc is what I have heard.

ye the dieing part would be true, but dunno about the dc, but it may count too, dunno, but he said "some trader walked into it" so i doubt he was in a pt with an unknowm trader

I walked into one of those bot traps without realizing, I get DC'd no matter what. My theory is that joymax could not find a way to make it so only people within the bodyguard circle would die (or they did not bother to if it's AoE related), so yeah if you get killed by one of those you get DC'd, it's how they slow down botfarming

Moral of the story, stay away from the statues. Playing with fire will only get you burned. Or in this case, Dc'd.

that aoe is freaking annoying, and yes they fixed it 2nd patch to dc u after u die, the 1st day it only killed you but didn't dc non-bots(well it didn't dc me, but did dc the gold bots)

I just came back about a month ago after a year break and ran into one of those things while I wasn't paying attention. I've actually run into them a few times. Definitely DC each time. Kind of a pain, you gotta watch where your going outside Hotan and if your not familiar with an area. Still worth it though.

EDIT: Do you think they are the cause to no weapons and gear under 10d being sold? I'd rather take the gold bots back if it would bring back the community under 10d....

true, just share drops within ur guild/uni if u have 1, and u should be fine, if it was my decision, id rather lvl to 10D with NPC gear then to never log in at all lol...

Actually there is some gear, just not much. What lack of goldbots does is force you to pick up all the drops, tabs, elements, and then blue and plus your own stuff - like I've been doing myself instead of buying from others. If elixirs would drop to about half the price they are, we'd technically be playing the game it was intended to be played

That'd require me actually learning how to blue shit. I was here before that update first came out, was like "WTH IS THIS SHIT?!? Eff it I don't need it!". And yeah.

Hool saw some gold bots in sam last night so he traced one to see where it went and it bought pots, repaired, headed out of town and walked around the statue. Fail.

idk about goldbots being able to do it.
but i know for a fact that player bots can avoid the statues.
i've seen it on numerous occassions.
well, as long as i can still log in and play without them overrunning mob areas, i'm geeewd.

just change the statues posistion every tuesday with server patch, but yeh.. joymax is 2 lazy i assume:P

The issue is that they do change the statue locations, but it isn't changed as often/fast as the goldbots change their movements.

I think Statue of Justice is a pretty cool guy. eh is Joymax's lovechild and doesnt afraid of anything. But this one time, I accidently the whole statue.

To bad joymax removed them. I just noticed today when i ran out of hotan for the first time in ages. Alexandria ftw.

They probably removed them from high level areas, but they are still around low levels. I've checked on four servers, Alps, Alexander, Gaia, and Iris. I also noticed people are actually in Jangan stalling like the game first came out... Weird..

They did have one, it was removed though. One was right on top of a hill
