Boycott SRO?

I really think any SRO discussion atm should be suspended (except for Other SRO Versions).

I know silk buyers didn't get banned, but still admitting to it?

This is an outrage, so two things should happen

Botting in SRF should be allowed since JM supports it

or official SRO version discussion should be cut of until further notice to begin the purge.

Get of the real players (botters and legits) and the bots will have no one to sell to it and so on. That will either kill SRO or it will be reborn. Anyone in with me in the long long long project?

EB is the biggest mistake of this forum. Everyone knew from the start that everyone is a botter. Even GMs use a bot :sohappy:

umm the game population right now is what 5k ppl at best of those around 2k(at most) actually buy silk, game is already dying and will soon be dead if JM doesn't do smthing soon, so why bother?

Generalizations are bad. "Everyone" is a botter? Hardly... If I'm a botter, I must have one pathetic bot program considering it took about a year and a half to get a blader to lvl 54 back in the day before I quit.

I think I left my bottle of care with my bag of silk back in 2006.

I think SRF should remain the same UNTIL SRO official site officially says that silk buyers can bot.

I think what joymax will cleverly do is offer botting as a package to their Premiun tickets...and reinstate not being able to log on unless you either have bought one of these packages or at least the common premium ticket.

I agree! And I pretty much think that the Admins of SRF agrees too. Of course I can't know for sure, but I doubt they'll make any change before it's officially posted on the Silkroad Online page / rule set.

That is probably true. My guess would be the same.

So they will let the gold bots in, and make the unofficially Pay-2-Play, only this time you get a bot when u pay and no need to turn to 3rd party software, i.e. possible hax, scams, etc.

Wow is this company that determined to ruin its reputation and the only game its managed to publish overseas successfully? I hope not....

I think from Joymax's standpoint, that's what the users want. It would seem most SRO players bot, despite the rules against it. So if they indeed do package a bot into the game, it's 'what the players want' and wouldn't ruin Joymax's reputation (in their eyes).

If the community stops botting, things could change. I'm not holding my breath.
