I don't get it. In my experience with MMORPGs, altruism doesn't exist. So why do people offer free power leveling in the party match system?

I just found a lv110 bard giving free mujigi taxi. This guy's leveling me faster than some guy named _____Mavi____, who charged 750k/h and scammed everyone after half an hour. And this mavi dude's taxi was on fire.

Usually because they're powerleveling their noob character and want to bring the party's average level lower than the mob's so they get better exp. Also, because penis.

Yup as Tsume its usally because they have there own noob char in the party and they want to get a full pt fast so it can get the best exp/sp possable, and the easyest way to do that is to make the party free and not charge. And most peeps plvling are botters and dont want to be kicking and inviting peeps every hour, they just want to set it up and go afk.

Power leveling their noob is most likely the case. They could just want to be nice...

Similarly to how I would sometimes randomly give 1m to someone in town asking for '10k plz'. Sometimes I'd be out in my thief suit, killing NPC thieves for low level traders who seemed to be having a hard time with them. Really confused the trader...

I do it when i find someone nice who is low on cash. I never say it's free but if i like the person, i don't take money. That's mostly when i wait uniques in the area or i have some work to do, but still i hate to take money for taxi.

i plvl for free since i need those lower degree drops :S

I did it the other day cuz I was grinding in that area. Doing the lvl 32 quest for res scrolls. Guy responded and was like pls stop ks. I was like you speak-a engrish? He said yes. We talked, so i was like want me to powerlvl you?
