power leveling

I think I'm wasting my time hand grinding. HOWEVER, is power leveling the only way?
It's expensive and carries a huge risk of being scammed, dying while afk.

I'm a lv32 pure int spear with 2 mil. How do you make enough money to power level to high levels?

There is a reason they created the trading system.

Unless you have your own high level char, it's nearly impossible to power level a char till lvl 110. I wouldn't recommend it, really! You'll just end up wasting all your gold.

Just go hand-grinding again, it's the only way unless you have your own char (or are stinking rich)

don't get powerleveled much then. Chinese are strong enough to grind in a 4-man - effectively solo - at mobs slightly higher than themselves. Grinding gives you a surprising amount of gold, drops, elixirs, etc when you one- or two-shot mobs.

Trading system is another way to make gold, buy low sell high, blue up gear and sell it, keep stones/elements and blue stuff, ask guild for help, get in an 8-man party, etc.

It helps a little if you start out with a good buffer of gold though. I think people still might pick up drops at Roc Mtn, I saw someone with the noob symbol the other day at wing tribes, picking up tabs and junk.

Go grind, find a party (mission impossible), go do trades, go do CTF and level up!

Play a different game

To everyone telling me to go play a different game, **** off. I didn't come here asking for help if I wanted to play a different game. And i'm not gonna run my own bot.

Now the problem is 1 star trades give way too little. They take over half an hour, and I get less than 100k due to pot costs. And two star trades carry a HUGE amount of risk because of all the high level thieves who botted to reach that level.

I try selling elements/equips, but my stuff is very low level and since I'd say like less than 10% of the community is below level 40, no one wants them.

I thought they changed the trading system, so you could do "safe" trades? Can you do a 5* safe trade now? All I would do is make sure you get a trade ready with a couple of high level hunters, then wait till 20 minutes from CTF and leave from Jangan or Constan.

If nothing else, npc them, at least you'll get SOME gold.

Or go back and create another char, lvl to 10, go to roc mtn and pick tabs and stuff. Some bots don't pick up stones at all and that's a quick 40k. I did it with an alt for about 6 hrs one day and wound up with about 2.5 million. It's starter gold if nothing else.

To hell with all this powerlevel stuff, I hardly got powerleveled on Iris and same goes for a lot of our union. You just need to find people on the server you're on to do power parties.

I think it seems that way because you are trying to get money to get powerleveled, which means that :

1. you are bored/find no fun in grinding (a major aspect of this game)
2. you want to get as high level as you can

These things do not go hand in hand if you are going to play this game.

Why would you continue trying to play a game in which you admittedly have found no entertainment and would rather have a bot level you than play?

The only solution for people like you is to buy gold, buy a bot, or quit. The problem with this game is that too many people choose the first two options instead of the third option. Quit now while you still can and are not addicted.

Seriously though...you are wasting your time/life away with this game...its not worth it! I quit back in November 09 and let me tell you...I'm so happy I did. I had a lvl 100 char full decked out...and when I capped and got all my gear...there was really nothing left to do...its a waste of time my friend.

Pretty much what he said.

SRO is a grindfest. It's the most grinding intense game I know. The quests give hardly enough exp to be worth it and apart from grinding mobs for hours on end, there is no other way to level. Even with power leveling, somebody needs to be grinding constantly.

Quite frankly if you are bored of grinding by level 32, you should uninstall the game. Now.

Why didn't I think of that (picking up junk at Roc Mtn). Btw, why do you need to get to lvl 10 to get there? I thought lvl 1 is good enough. XD

Well, another way to make gold real fast is join Battle Arena. Even if you lose you get 1 coin which can be sold for at least 2 million on Oasis. But it's usually more like 3 mill. Some ppl demand 5 mill for it.
