Hi guys!

I want to make an new char. Specially for group PVP(Battle arena). In the most topic's I read that warrior/cleric is the most prefer. But is that the best for group PVP? Or there other some good chars for group PVP?

Rogue/Warlock STR
Warlock/cleric hybrid INT

because it is the pvp build.
(it only cost a shitload of SP and is hard to lvl with)

If you just want to play group pvp and not 1on1 dont make the warlock hybrid... If you never play, a Pure Int is better. Your dmg is just higher... Why should you waste DMG for some Hp you dont need.
Im only playing group pvp with my warlock. Just 104 now, Pure int and FF. EQ is son wl rod, +8 shield, and +4/+5 eq. Its enough. I dont get attacked very often. Most people more concentrate on other guys than me.
And if, I have warrior buffs, cleric buffs, minimum one tambour and healing once I lose hp.
Ofc better with a full euro group which I have.

Once Im fully buffed, I have 22k HP with DS and Premium+ and I still need HP and STR on my set. At 110 Ill have much more hp...

And ya, would also recommend Warlock/Cleric for Group PvP. Once your full farmed, you do very nice with debuffs, stun, sleep etc. Your lucky if you just fight chinese chars without Holy Spell, they die very fast.

Other characters I would take for group PvP are Bowers, for knock down, your ranged so your not the first one getting attacked.

Best are Sub Clerics cause you often need absolute dmg to kill guys who are fully buffed by a warrior with screens. Cause its absolute you also own with it as Pure STR.

For group pvp joymax made 1 perfect build: warrior/cleric.
High damage, tank abilities, skins, screens, buffs, heals, ect ect ect.

For 1 versus 1 is warlock still tha king

Bard/Cleric ,u will shine in party like the sun on the sky in a hot summer day .

the shining part is only when noone attacks you,
not much action with that build unless you are full buffed

Srsly though, Warlock is a class I hardly see anymore, ppl find it easier to bot with a wiz I guess >.> oops slip of the tongue.

Warrior/Cleric <-- Overused for a reason, It's great.

Rogue/Cleric or Bard <-- under appreciated cause it's amazing. especially against Wiz cause it has more range than them with their strongest attack which can 1shot pure Int easy if they spam LC which wiz always do in pvp.

Warlock/Cleric. Cleric helps with LA and bless adds to the annoyance of a Lock. Stun and Sleep are good for interrupting wiz and then blood/death flower can 1shot em pretty easy. dots won't hurt either. Dots are needed for a Warrior to make your job much easier.

distance shot and hurricane shot deal incredible damage with xbow extreme, with crit it is high enough to kill full str guys with fb +5/6/7 armor

OTP: so what "ROLE" do you exactly want to be in the group pvp...because "Best" is a very generic term and there really isnt one

you want to be a tanker -> warrior/[whatever]
you want to be aoe king -> wizard/cleric or wizard/bard
you want to be dps -> rogue/[whatever]
you want to be disabler -> warlock/cleric

it's your pick after you decide what you want to be.

Oh yea DPS ? this is not wow.. tanker? still not wow.. Warrior isn't gonna tank more than 2 nukes from a LC wiz(with shit gear) or a Rogue without sox or awesome cleric heals.

lol he said battle arena aka group pvp. stop thinking about 1v1s...you're obviously gonna have buffs from fellow euros - most often than not there will be at least 1 subcleric in your team.

if you have buffs with bless and still cant survive 2 nukes? delete char pls...

even with full sons, you aint gonna survive 2 nukes from a LC wiz regardless

Group PvP.. go for Wizard/Cleric, very high damage and AoE.. All you need is a 1 good warrior and 1 Bard in your party. You will be very fine.

You didn't specify warrior/cleric. you said warrior/whatever so bless wasn't my first thought >.>
With skins though he could survive em.
Light/Ice Bolt can be survived if you wanna get technical

Little side note, I see so many warriors getting owned by Wiz outside Sm because they don't Sprint and they don't Skin >.> Do you warriors not find Stun/knockback useful?

No.
But no, Warlock is very useful in group pvp. Stun and Sleep ignore Holy Spell and if your spamming debuffs any of them does work.
I play Warlock/Cleric myself and it does help alot. And if you find an enemy that isnt buffed hes dead in some secs... Lot of chn arent buffed...
And stun helps alot for the rest of group.

i would realy be suprised if your fighting in a party with 8 vs 8 or somethat that u dont got a holy spel on

even in fort wars many groups don't have it on because most of them rush in with bless on or cast it when they feel it is needed.
Warlocks easily clear off any people who don't have it and even with holy word on, 2 tanks with the scream mask buff on are annoying as hell

IMO Group pvp :
First of all : Euro ! not chinese.
Chinese can handle partying but aren't ment for it like the euros are.

So :
Rogue : It's nice imo.Nice dmg,won't die so easy like wiz do.Versatile.But i don't find it too much of a party playing build since all you can do with it is kill and eventualy be killed.
Warrior : I think is one of the most important parts of group pvping : Support char(buffs),tanker + it can deal some damage as well.If fully buffed then it kind of rullz.It will give you an awsome feeling or at least it does for me.
Wiz : Clearly dmg dealer.You will die a lot but if you play it right you're gonna drag some people with you.
Warlock : dunno,never played it but i find it cool.It helps but i find it boring.
Cleric/Bard : Clearly support classes.Every party will need those but it's kind of boring to just stand there and buff.But i'd pick cleric as a second class.

SO IMO : Warrior/Cleric is the way to go.

Thats more for 1on1 pvp.
Simple reason: You cant ress, so your not needed in a group. Everyone would prefer a Warrior/Cleric or a Rogue/Cleric over you...

Bard cleric is the best. That build is very much needed in a group.

Pretty much this! At least if you're going for group pvp.

About the warrior/rogue:
It's great for solo pvp's and you'll be able to kill most people quite easily (depends on gear - obviously). However, in grinding parties and group pvp's, as Mupf9 said, every party would prefer a warrior/cleric instead of you.

Good luck with your build

At group pvp Sub Cleric chars are the best. Cause once one guy dies he gets blackressed, so your team also needs black ress + full buffed by a cleric.
While they are blackressed they dont get any important damage by normal attacks so you need absolute skills which are at the cleric tree.
Over Healing + Glut Healing, Im FF to 101 and Over Healing is at lvl 14 and causes 11k DMG, Glut Healing is at lvl 6 and causes 12k DMG. Now imagine a whole pt with Sub Clerics who use Over/Glut Healing at an fully buffed, blackressed guy. He dies fast...
cause 11k and 12k dmg gets due to his buffs.

Its just nice.
