Hunters and Traders that steal....

Whats up with the hunters that help on a trade run only to PM their friends to put on a thief suit and come rob the trade? lol..its sorta funny but lame at the same time....
I was protecting a trade run and another trader decides to join us...and about halfway she disconnected...we waited for her to log back on for 5 min and she didn't show...then later on in the trade a thief with a name that goes well in line with her trader name comes and robs us..lol....
A few of the traders that I help protect have stories of their hunters pretending they're experiencing lag or miraculously disconnecting when a thief shows up lolol my god..these guys have no shame...

Some people have less idea of what's ok or moral in a video game. I agree, if you're gonna be a hunter, then your job is to protect, not allow the trade to be stolen!

Reminds me of the ole days when ppl would be hunters, help a trader to to teleport, switch suits, rob em, win.

Reminds me of the days when Lv40-50+ ruled the first 2 towns and being able to ride an ox made people run the opposite direction. Best part was that the game was bot-free.
And of course, hunters did their job, thieves did theirs, and traders traveled in much smaller groups.
...then came the glitches, the botters, and all sorts of other shit which made SRO the clusterf
uck it is today.
So 6 years ago...
(Haven't played since 2008 or 2007 - for the record)

players used to warn each other not to trade with certain people,
now they warn each other not to risk trading at all.

Yea, I remember the good old days where high level thieves lure their mobs to 1* n00b traders.
Now Jobs activity have greatly increase, I think cuz so many newbie can log in now, so many low level traders(20-50) roaming around the silkroad. I got my character in top10 weekly raking of hunters for helping this newbie 5* trade, some of them borrow gold from me for 5*. Also many n00b thieves trying to rob us all the time most of them rogue or wizards follow our trade in invi form then attack when npc thieves respawn.
I think the spirit of triangular conflict is slow getting back to life cuz the servers are populated now.

lol I remember those days very well...you didn't have to go to town to change into your job suit and you could change into any of the three jobs if you wanted to..and you could do it anywhere....
I was very frustrated back then because I was always a trader...mainly because I was low level....but now that I look back it was funny and also a lame thing for a player to do....Things haven't change much I guess..

Look up Alias on rev6 and harrass them in Global. win
Did this on Tigris (Minus the global) and found out the Thief was in our union =\

high level thieves shouldn't be able to attack low level traders.
-> 20-30 level trader gets pwnd by 90-100 lv thief. what's the point? xD

They should have a 1 star then. 1 star under lvl 40 is not attackable.

even a 110 could do 1* now and isnt attackable. I did trade with a 94 char last week with 1*. It's called safe trade. You get a special Buff when you do it and could do up to 8 safe trades. Dunno if its per week or per day (i suggest per week, would be too much if its per day).
Even did it with a lvl 60 char and couldnt be attacked by another thief who was 90+ after I looked up for his alias at rev6.

ohh,that was close to orgasm for me,cause right after receiving gold..KABOOM kill them and run with the loot,then take like XXXXXX offenses...my excuse was always the same tho..."i'm doing my job"...=)
