But let's go deeper in the details. With the new Auto Potion, you can set HP and MP potting, but also pets can be healed and feeded automatically with it now. New HP/MP recovery tickets can be used too by this Auto-Pot. The Auto Skill function basically uses your buffs (with automatic weapon switches) and you can set skills to attack mobs. In Auto hunting you can set a range in that automatically mobs will be killed with the selected skills. You can also set when to return to town (like no more pots or have to repair, after 1 hour etc.), when to use zerk, what to do when you die, if you want to pick up items (no hints about an item filter yet) and if you want to use a repair hammer or repair your items in town. If it can automatically return to the leveling spot is unknown yet.
So, basically Silkroad is getting a bot system which works ingame. What are the consequences? - Botting will (at least with this bot) become LEGAL, no more bot bans - People will handgrind even less than before - Bot companies will have less sales (depends on the bot features) - Joymax/Wemade/whatever could sell this function for silk and get some profit
We have to see in which versions it will be added. I think some foreign Silkroad publishers (cSRO/vSRO/kSRO/jSRO/rSRO/thSRO/tSRO) would not want this feature to be added and keep fighting against the bots. We can't do anything against that new feature. If it comes, Silkroad could finally turn into a game where there are no handgrinding people anymore. But still, it is the player's decision if they use it~

I can see this MIGHT be better if they really really crack down on 3rd party bots/loaders/whatever and give you a REALLY limited bot. Still, it's a lot more fun and challenging to HAND party with other people - I mean, you have a personal investment then, yanno? If your char dies, you're like FUUUU NOOOO.
With a bot, I bet people are like "meh, I'll get that back tomorrow while the bot works for me overnight". I mean, how proud can you be of something that a machine/software basically helped you make?
That's really odd... basically no people playing, everything would be automated xD I don't wanna say it but that is good news for me, since I never made it past level 35 o0 and I would never use illegal programs. That way I will finally have the chance to see what it's like to have high level powerful char, and in the same time - not to handgrind, which takes forever.
Sadly, I think that's just rumors. xD

i dont really doubt it. A few other free to play mmo's have such features and they didnt really ruin those games. Doesnt mean I'm down with it, but the game environments still function fairly well.

and we'll get people who've been using bots requesting joymax to add features lol. No surprises here though, they just want to stop people from running away from the game by taking a bit of the workload off
If they ever bring this out they need to make sure it doesnt go back to the training spot after it has returned to town and they should charge 5k silk for a month use.

Well they know the game is dying, the only ppl that play are oldies, there's like maybe 1 new player every month? They're just adding shit now to try and keep it alive.

What will happen to the EB section of this forum..ooohh noooess lol....I wonder how many people will post a screen shot of them botting and laughing about it..too funny....But seriously though...If this happens then this game will just be a game of high levels....No mid level content..just bots by the thousands...
Everyone botting/waiting to reach the cap before they actually play. Nearly every event will have to be for high levels only because no low-mid level players will be participating. I can see a lot of people not minding this..and that's their choice but I'd rather SRO to focus more on story line and content throughout all levels....I guess that's too much to ask for....

What about Forgotten World? It has everything you mentioned and you can obviously not use a bot there.
@[Orphen]: The texts were just added this wednesday in kSRO so it actually is a new thing. The interface for this does not exist yet in kSRO :S (if it does, send me a pm with the resinfo/res_ui file please)
