Hey guys. I'm kind of new here, not to Silkroad though. However, I've never made it past level 35, I always get bored...

I completely realize my 'question' might be stupid, please save the epic fail posts xD

Does it really mean - high level = no life??? Is it that difficult to level up? Well, what happens when they increase level cap to 120, 130, even 150? Bots only ingame?

Let's suppose you play 1 - 1:30, max 2 hours a day. no gap.

How much time does it take to start a new char and make it to lvl 90, for instance? I need numbers. I know it won't be the same with everybody, but i guess it would be similar. If you have done it, or have any idea at all, please share.

Like..a year? MORE? What's with the game and why is so unbalanced?

depends,
if you use silkitems or not,
if you level solo or not,
how good your set is,
what your build is(corelated with the sp requirements-> needed gap)
how efficiently you grind,
if you take quests or not (they will help a great deal at legend X)


normally you can do about 1-2 lvls a day if you play 3-4 hours in a party till about 60

Well a lvl 90 Char i would say about a year orso something in that area.

And this game is not unbalanced at all. just some classes are beter in things then other's just like any other game.

Let's say, without Silk items, without powerleveling, without parties, without quest (well, stupid imo)... it could take you ages. I mean, not only leveling, but you must also farm for some SP. The game is getting stupider so...
i'd say, from lvl 35, 1 week to get 2 levels. until 40 maybe?
1 level per week, till 45, 1 level around 1.5 weeks playing 2 or 3 hours a day till 50. and so on... lol

Idk the others, i got my char for over 2 years but im stuck at 7x. FF yes, i've taken many taxis, ofc but idk how people manage to get high levels.. i starting to think they buy silks and have no life lol no offence.

Reason why caps keep increasing is a mystery. Furthers the gap of Legit - Bot even more.
I stopped playing at 90 cap for awhile. Came back was 100 cap getting released soon. Left and came back again.. 110 cap. And now Ksro is getting or got 120 cap. Wonder if they will ever balance XP rates out more. If they were to complain about players leveling up massively with already acculmulated xp, then just raise Xp from mobs. Problem Solved.

great for pvp, great for grinding, it just i get sleepy when i play alone. and to make a party for my level now a days, it's really hard since most party are only 95+.

Q_Q 10k and taxi plz?

Oh and well, even tho i am FF for the 9 degree, i don't have enough for the next one since i usually go 9 cap/farm for the next degree.

(ie, lvl64/8D skill at 64 all the way until reach the new degree lvl 76/9D.)

No, because you would have hardly any skills at all. It's easier to farm at the lower levels too, takes a lot less gold/pots/etc. Unless the "rush" you're talking about is a LOT of plvl/taxi at 7-9 gap, then yeah, you could be 95 in like 4 months of heavy taxi. Who wants to do that? You couldn't play your character at all.

Options are limited, but 0-gapping to 95 would be hella difficult on a Chinese char. Maybe on a rogue/bard or something but good luck finding parties with no bard skills.

The game is unbalanced...for instance using skills outside your class like warrior cleric/rogue cleric....If they remove the Euros 15 seconds pot delay and not allow any race(Chinese or Euro) or any class to use skills or weapons not belonging to it then we'd have some balance.


OT:

Grinding in a good party and using a 3 hour prem will take the sting out of the time it takes....before you try to level to 90 find a group of people that are just starting out as you and form a guild with them..

Cough, it would take you years, assuming u solo and do quests.
To tell you, there are NO parties from 1 to like 80. Its because everyone is already capped or 80 +.
Next if you are playing 2 hours a day, don't even bother to download this. It would take way to long.

The only possible way is taxi, but that system is no fun. You download a game to play right?
Taxi is just to sit somewhere do nothing for your 2 hours and let some high lvl guy do the work for you. And this... until your at least 80. Which takes months. But i think you would've already quit by then.

And about going for cap 120. If you have seen the amounts of xp from 100 to 110...
110-120 would be only possible for bots and the ones who have no life at all.

The game balanced ? lol everyone is buying sht to get ++++++++++ for their gear, so its like whoever has the most PLUSPLUSPLUSPLUSPLUSPLUS wins.

An alternative way is to wait until a server opens and some legit leftovers decide to make a new start. But even then you have to rely on them to be active everyday.

i have the same problem, even more so than you probably since i <3 chinese chars and wanna make a good one(and chinese are not welcome in euro parties EVER!!! )

My solution is go into ctf as much as u can, do it for the pve if not the pvp, and do lots of quests, if u dont get sp from quests then make a gap, but do em to save urself alot of time.

Oh and dont think about getting to cap too much, you'll just get bored n quit/bot.

Try to have fun along the way, find ppl around your lvl and play with them from time to time

Quitting is the best solution I think. But I just love this game. I love seeing high-level characters, shiny, big weapons, battles etc. xD I just wanted to feel what it's like to be one of them, but apparently I will never be able to reach such high level.
Handgrind would take months...even MORE, which is crazy, it's just a game after all, no need to dedicate your life to it.
Botting is not an option for me since I don't like the idea at all, and powerlevel companies have nice offers only for low levels, like 40-50. After 60+ it gets pretty expensive.

I hoped that regular playing for like 1-2 hours a day would take me somewhere.. apparently not, which is really sad cause I like the game very much. =)

Not to mention that I just got in college and will have lot to study, meet new ppl, start all over. It wouldn't be smart to waste time for a game. I guess I'll just have to BUY some high level acc and enjoy it. Which of course won't happen hahaha;d

lol i am lvl 58 and i barely see people my lvl, they are either hella low or higher. for example when im doing ctf i either do it with 40's or 70's i rarely see 50'/60's. and people are hella stupid when u make a item/exp share party and another person get the drop the whole party dissolves in like 40 sec. and i see 70's lvling faster thn me cause they got plvl from a 110 >_> and i dun got money for plvl

pff you can do 1 level a day on a chinese char til 50 with party leveling and power leveling 1 level a week even with short hours is stupidly slow

no wonder you quit for that reason glad i left for a good reason
