I believe I have found the 2 worse pvp strategy. They are the worse not because they lose, but because they rely on cheap tactics, they rely on keeping the player invincible until opponent is weakened.

Build and Method 1: Warrior/Cleric; pure str; wearing LA. Switch to cleric rod and just heal until opponent runs out of bless, snow, pots. When opponent's buffs are down, switch to 2h, dd, if opponent don't die, go back to cleric asap to spam more heals. You might see variations of this build where they switch to axe to put stun and bleed, than dd, than switch back to healing like a mofo.

Build and Method 2: Fire Ice Pach; pure str; wearing garms. Cast Fire Wall, use 50% or higher snow whenever opponent has bless or snow or skins or screens active. Use kb spam whenever you take any amount of dmg and keep spamming with a strong bow thrown in every now and then for stun. Only use anti and explosion arrow when stun works, if not, keep kb. If anti and explosion don't kill them, start kb spamming again until stun lands.


How did this rant start? In short one of the guild in my union left due to a fight. Before they left they challenged someone to a pvp match. What did they do? Kb spam with 50% snow on until guy ran out of pots and had to go refill. This wasn't a special occasion either, mofo pvped like that all the time.

so what if it's cheap, it get's the job done

I dont like PvP really, cuz I either kill everyone in hit or they kill me in one hit (except for pure str[noobz])

There are no set rules for pvp lol if a archer KB's full its his choise just like when a nuker unendingly Knockdown's.

As for warrior clerics in cleric mode i can kill every single one of them as long as they are my lvl or maybe 1-2 higher so i don't see what the problem is with that

Now we are back to how gay Knockback and Warriors are again.
If they don't really want to fight, get others to join in and start a group bashing so they eventually have to run or attack.

never in my entire sro pvp career, i had to switch to cleric and put deity on me. this is more appropriate for rogues, due to lack of kb/stuns unlike warriors.

if you make a huge survey, you will see the only lamest build is str bow. I agree, every build can be annoying to pvp, but 99% of the cases they know they will die vs you, thats why they abuse their status skills.

but bow? omg its easier to get a sun drop than find normal bow player in pvp.

btw, my prospective changed alot since pt arena came out, warriors are godlike there, in equal terms 8v8, china chars are just a decoy, nothing more.

In a perfect silkroad, cleric heal effectiveness would depend on int/str ratios and not solely weapon magical attack. It's kinda nutty that a str build can spam two heals and be back at 60k hp. As it is now, a warrior with even a little skill is too overpowered for most other builds. I have one and love it, but damn, theres like no risk involved most of the time. It's either pvp until someone double/triple crits, or a rouge hits a prick crit. Hooah.

As for 5 and 6 arrow combos, thats just gay. You could go so far as calling it strategy, but in 1 vs 1, it's a hella weak strategy.

Lol, if a bower does that on Xian he gets tripleteamed for being a retard.

As for war/clerics who just stand there and heal, just stop attacking alltogether and ask wtf hes doing. Most war/cleric will mostly just switch to cleric just to cast healing cycle, then go straight back to attacking, there's just a few retards like that.
And you can also add rogue/cleric or war/cleric using bless/skins in pvp, not cool

I am still waiting for Goseki's thread on how Warlocks are totally unfair that they can use stuns and no other skill due holy word.

how many 11d warlocks exist on each server amongst the warriors, rogues and wizards?

4 hits vs 5/6 hits over a larger timeframe + less chance to get the knockback...I don't really see the double standards.

Contrary to your other post, I'd have to say that for Chinese chars, a warlock/cleric who depends on trap sleep and offering to kill is one of the worst pvp types in sro history.

What I see is "I can't kill them So it makes me mad"

PvP has no rules, it's not suppose to give your opponent any type of advantage nor you any disadvantage. If you find something works to kill your opponent, then do it. It all comes down to opinion, everyone is allowed to have them.

How does healing yourself kill the other? It will just be a waste of pots and time.

That is actually lame imo, but again why would someone let the enemy kill them? If constant healing annoys them, then I'd say it's working lol

I don't care how they pvp but if I find myself against someone who is just hiding (by either healing himself or just shield and walls 24/7) after you agreed to a 1v1 pvp I just won't bother fighting them. It's pvp after all >.>

Reminds me of the noobs that will hit you once or twice and then ghost to a safe zone when they didn't get the Kd on you. Then they come out and try it again.

Euro haters gonna hate? I think it's about how good the player is using his character. I mean, if you think the opponent keeps using healing cycle or any healing skills too much, it means he just trying to keep alive lol = You got advantage until you are able to stun him with a skill and attack him until hes done.

I usually cast a healing skill when i am pretty sure on the edge of the death (like when my potions are getting cooldowns and my opponent is dealing great damage on me) but other than that, the best defense is the offense.

I also think that the bless spell should not be casted unless hes a bad loser and want to win at all cost. Just to make it fair.
