Hello. This is Silkroad Online.

In order to maintain a pleasant gaming and smooth patching experience, all servers will be undergoing weekly server inspection.

Weekly server inspection will occur every Tuesday.

Game Inspection Period : Aug 31st, 2010 13:00~18:00 Silkroad Standard Time (5 hours duration)

Legend V plus Update (Battle Arena)
- Battle Arena Update
* Random Matching Arena, Party vs Party Arena, etc
- Socket System Update
* More Options to make Powerful Weapons and Upper Armors
- Trade and Triangular Conflict Improvement
* Various Profits will be increased
- Summer Ghost Hunt Event will be applied
* Various Ghost Hunting in a dungeon of Catacomb
- New Avatar will be added
- Wind Spirit Avatar will be deleted
- Global Soccer Festival Winners will be rewarded
- New Cash items will be added
- New Server Caspian will be opened

wondering about the Trade and Triangular Conflict Improvement?

I guess it means like it says..

"Various Profits will be increased"

Only good thing is battle arena. Rest is sh1t

We get 3 new sockets to add to weapons and armors. They havent said what skills or buffs we can add yet, but looks like it will make an improvement. Was reading about it on silkroad secrets.

Seems like all updates in this game are pretty much for high level characters. My level 54 blader hasn't had much of anything to look forward to in the past 3 years or so.

lol .... You can go to battle arena at your lvl as you will be matched with people your level. you can go to the ghost hunting event. You can trade 1 stars again even though your above 40 and be safe ... Everything on this update has benefits for you

I can't even get the SRO client to install properly anymore...

The updates all sound good. I say it's about time, even if I can't get online to see them. I'm a thief though, so I wouldn't be doing a 1 star trade. Last I knew though lvl 40+ traders didn't have 1 star protection.

Point was that when I was playing, and even after I stopped but had the ability to continue playing... updates mostly benefited high lvl players. I guess this recent update has changed some things.

I'm still working on trying to get the client installed so I can check things out.
