I've had weird arguments/conversations in game similar to this but this one takes the cake. I decided to capture it all into one play-by-play word for word exactly without the interruptions so you guys can grasp the humor and marvel at the arrogance...enjoy the play:

ACT 1 (and the only one): I've just global on my server (Athens) that I wanted to buy a Female Black Devil Thief Suit....Thus the conversation started....

ThunderRage: How much you pay for black devil suit female?

I wanted for him to tell me what he wanted for it so I can bargain him down...and no it never occur to me to offer a price because I've given up early in the conversation on the feeling that he doesn't have a female Thief suit at all....you happy now?

This is really unneccesary. You wasted your time talking to a person you called an idiot and he wasted his time talking to a person he called an idiot. Neither you nor him is absolutely right/wrong.

This is just a failed communication between two parties. If either you or he yield to each others such as either you offered some X price or he stated his Y price; you can then negotiate back and forth but none of you did that, you two decided to go with your own rules. Your rule is saying seller has to state the price for buyers to decide and you gave an example of an real life stores and his rule is saying buyer global buying stuff must offer first and he rebuttal his point saying this is not a store but rather an online game environment. In your situation, after few starting lines, you can tell that it is not going anywhere, I really don't know why you can continue on with all the non-sense. Don't you agree you could spend your time finding another sellers or at least just ignore this stupid verbal war.

There is some truth to what you are saying but he got me very curious as to why he believes that a person "should know the price of what they are looking for and that they are an idiot of they don't"...That was the catalyst that caused me to further prolong the discussion.

I don't really believe nor was trying to show that a seller should always name their price. I've been playing a long time and seen otherwise. He was quite abrasive from the start and I had nothing to do but just lay in wait for responses/PMs from my global. I do however think it was stupid of me to argue with a moron. I'm glad I did though cuz I laughed for while when it was over.

If they sell those suits for 12 - 20 mill in jangan and you dont buy them, then you know you only pay a lower price...

Why you didnt just offer up to 10mill? and if he wants more than 12 you would have gone to jangan and bought it for 12mill...
