hi all,
I downloaded this game and played around a little while at various different times over a few days. One thing I've noticed is that I tend to experience a lot of server lag. I'm pretty sure its server lag as I press a button to do something .... .... .... and then the character does the indicated action (move, attack, trade, etc). I have DSL and play other games where I do not experience this sort of lag. I am in north america (new mexico specifically) and I am wondering how or if i can find a server where I will have a better experience. Can anyone suggest a server that is a little more responsive? I've played on Petra and Gaia and had a similar experience.

I'd estimate the lag to be about a 1000 ping (no actual measurement on this though - just a feeling)

Meh, I live in Ohio, and I find the the quality of connection fine. I can guess a ping of less than 100. Of course I got soooo used to ECSRO lag that this feels like nothing XD. Wanna explain how bad the lag is?

You cant do anything about the lag. Servers are located in south korea (at least they used to be).

Also, find another game. Silkroad is nothing but an enormous grind. Without spending $50+/month on premium items, you will realistically never catch up.
