It took my 33 weps elix to make my spear +3 with a prem and powders lol

lucky suit 4x +1% luck as well?
apart from that: if you batch enhance, you can discard "unlucky" items instead of putting all hopes onto one pathetic elexier hole

90 elixirs and my nova pants weren't +5? lucky avy 1% x4 prem gold, and when trying from +4 -> +5 i even slapped a lucky stone on it...
135 elixirs on my nova spear and its +3, failed to +6, 5 times and, +7 once, only lost 1 immo... but i payed for that immo >_<

Around 300 elixirs to make one of the first 10D weapons +5 when 100 cap was released. Powder was used to every attempt, lucky stone when it reached +4 aswell. Tried several days and also let my friends try to + it.
