Higher lvl better at penons?

Hi all,

so i am currently solo farming at penon warriors/planars. I am a lvl 52 nuker and i kill both warriors and planars in one hit.

Every kill, without ticket/any sort of exp increse(except in full pt), i get 270 skill experience. thats 270 skill experience with ONLY distribution party bonus. This is the amount i get from the warriors.

I leveled up to 53, but with the same increse(party only) i got less than 270 skill exp per warrior kill. i believe it was about 40'ish less, not sure.

i do use ticket/skill ticket, however i used only party bonus to see the "basic exp per kill" if u will.

does anyone know if this would increase at a higher level? (for example, get 300 skill experience per warrior kill at 57 while being in ONLY a full pt) or will level 52 give me the best amount of skill experience?

What's your current skill mastery gap? That 270 skill xp heavily depends on it.

But generally speaking, best level gap between you and the monsters is around 11-ish from what I remember. I could be totally wrong with this number. I think for solo play, you should be killing the highest level monsters you can 1- or 2-shot that also have a decent spawn rate.

You will get less sxp if you are higher.

my current mastery is 149, spear, light, and fire at 43, ice at 20, and yes i have heard about the 11 level difference i just dont know of places other than penons with good spawn rates(i kno caves, but i heard they r very crowded)

I have heard there's secret rooms in them thar caves, not everyone knows of them, check the map when you go in. But at 53 it's pretty tough to survive to get to them since mobs start at 61 and just get higher as you go in. Of course it doesn't help that half are aggro and half are passive.

Sometimes it's better to one-shot lower mobs than it is to two-shot higher level mobs.

The 11 level gap between you and a monster is irrelevant if you are soloing. Stay where you are if you are getting decent spawn. If your level 53 you can safely move your masteries to 44 and still receive the max sp rates. 9 levels is the max gap in your masteries for effectiveness anything greater is pointless.

i did this, when i lvled to 53 i moved my masteries to 44, however i still recieved the 40'ish less skill exp. My skill exp gain at 52 is great and ive decided to stay here till i finish farming, thanks all
