Hello everyone,

I use to play this game along time ago, around four years ago. I quit due to life like graduating high etc etc.

Any old schoolers still around?

I barely remember much i only remember my pw for this site cant believe its still here. I saw a few people who i barely remember like a few admins. I quit around the time they gave out the euro silkroad.
I do remember getting the first yarken kill on my server when they raised the level cap.
I also remember my enemies in the game more than the friends i had haha. There were a lot of fun times lots of thieves vs hunters ..
I really enjoyed this game back then

Times when silkroad was silkroad.
It's now totally different game

Really how so? I dont feel like reading through a couple of years of updates to know a general idea would be nice

To start off, Jobbing (thiefs vs Hunters) is dead, cause everybody is bussy with pimping their gear and lvling up, and bots... don't even let me start about it
servers are full/crowded, without premium you almost can't play this game.

I prefer a server with 60 gap, controlled by the community... that would be awesome..

I sometimes try to log in my blader on Venice, but I get put in the queue for several hours. I walk away, come back later to see I'm on the character select screen with the "disconnected" message.

Like mentioned above, this game is so much different (in a bad way) than it was back in 2006/2007. It was great back then.

Guess I see myself as oldschool, been here since 60 cap before autopot and item mall.

well at 60 cap i didnt really know the game so started to learn it early 70 cap

swsro never had 60 cap... it had 90 cap from the start

sold the account for 12m and a 16 SoM bow.. dude who bought it turned it into the biggest scammer on the entire server

Played on aege for ages after that.. Was in the guild LimitBREAK and we went lvl 4 with only 3 people.. (this was before plvl at ongs). Quit.. came back.. Played 2 characters.. Yoichee and Renz0

Yeah thats what i consider old school. I was on xian too at first i remember i had a pure int bow lol but then i went to babel because of all the action that went on there, all the wars. I also remember when there was no auto pot.

yeh, i'm arround the 60-70 cap also, but i dont play since thelvl 90 cap......but i'm still here watching this forum and reading the new stuff......ITS A GAME THAT HUNTS YOU FOR LIFE!!

I started back when there was just the one or two servers back 2005-06. Quit the game at 80 cap as litteraly no one actually played the game after 70 cap. Those of us that did were rare. Jobbing was a joke. I would have rather gone back to the days of 1* poping. Than what the game is now. Yeah they put in protections for lowbies etc but it was already to late. Outside unjobbed ressers? Yeah you had to go murder stat just to job any more. And sro's murder penalty was retarted from the outset.

In its day for a free game sro had decent graphics etc but that was it. Joymax never maintained it. Even today they just milk the addicts.

Botters were always around even back then, always a problem we even predicted back then that it wouldnt go away and joymax wouldnt be effective combatting it. i see the problem hasnt.

I think anyone who played Xian back in the day related the word NIKE with botter.

First time I played SRO was when Xian was the only server, but I soon uninstalled because my shitbox computer couldn't handle it. Then I came back in 06 where Olympus and I think another server were relatively new, coolstory?

just do what the rest has done, quit. Some even suggests to bot as well.
