All servers in SRO have bots. Probably, bots are the major source of income for Joymax because they buy tons of silk. And we also know that they don't give a crap about botters. All in all, we legits are the only ones affected by this.

So, wouldn't it be a good solution by Joymax to simply make a new server where botting is absolutely prohibited and the GMs actually did their job? I mean, I'm sure legits are still gonna buy silk and probably this server is gonna be less profitable than the other botting server, but you could attract those legits that have been gone to other games, and still get some profit anyway.

Let the botter play in the other existing servers (as it is now, anyway), and simply not allow botters in the new legit-server.

Thoughts?

If they couldn't manage the first 3 servers without bots what makes you think they'll give a damn after releasing 30 servers?

JM took like no financial/business class' I think. They could do more to get some money but..

servers are mostly populated by goldbots. if other players leave these servers goldbots are useless cause no1 buys gold then.so servers start to drain= no silk

There won't be so many players that will quit the non legits servers, because, let's face it, people bot because they like it. A small amount will quit and come to the new legit server but that won't really change joymax's income from the botters and the goldbots.

Yea ,but lets think if we had a server without gold bots. There would be new players coming in, they could take off a few servers (so less spending), and legits actually spend quit a bit on this game. Since legits usually wanna lvl and they don't bot you can expect them to buy prem to lvl up quicker, also most hardcore gamers are legit. But I am thinking JM has some share's in the goldbot companies or something, they can't be this stupid.

There's a lot of botters all around Silkroad, they'll need a drastic and massive plan to remove them. Starting with those Gold-Companies that sells golds and some other stuffs like items which makes the game IMBA.

Edit: Since im back again to the game, i noticed there's a big amount of bots partying outside sammy. AFAIK, there was no bots at all... (last time was around November)

that area at sungs / huns is full of bots... Yesterday I noticed tons of wizards lv 47+ there, trying to kill 1 mob with fire ball, ofc only 1 of them did hit him (they were a group of 10 bots +)

Well, a server without bots wont be set up until Joymax changes their system or another company will take over (dont think they will sell unless they loose money).

you could add this to the somthing that will never happen on isro .... thread

How bout you just quit silk? stop trying to think of ways to improve the game, Joymax doesn't want to improve the game. Sorry to say it but I think it's best to just give up.. :/

Yeah, I think as long as they get their massive amounts of iSRO item mall income, they don't really care. If everybody stopped buying silk for a few months though, they might think about planning a meeting to discuss the idea of looking at the bot problem.

There's also the fact that it takes forever to level up once you get to a certain level. Players who have been around for a while don't want to give up their characters but also are too lazy and/or have a life outside of SRO so they don't want to spend all day at their computer button mashing. As such, they resort to botting to level up.

They obviously do. Thing is, most people don't buy prem. It's only the hardcore that would. Rest would just play normally. Just look at silk sales. When traffic was easy, only 1/2 at smk had a prem of some sort. Now, 7/9 players have prem. There's a few hardcore with prem + all the time, but there are many people that didn't have prem before, but now have a silver cuz of traffic.


Traffic = money.

Quit this shyt already <,< isn't wort to put money on a game thats like 7 years old+ huge grindfest.

Now you mention it... Holy Cow, even deeper it is getting worse.
I bet there's around 500+ bots in the Hun/bun areas (central Asia)...

IMO player bots are not what have been ruining the game...

I grinded for like 3 years or so to be a mediocre capped player, while there were bots doing everything I did in those 3 years in 3 months. Being 100% fully farmed and allowing themselves a better chance of finding the money making sos items because their grinding 24/7. Plus all the money they saved from not having to buy silks for 3 years, they can throw it on buying gold to make themselves that much better.

we should just all boycott SRO, and then all there is bots, farming gold, farming gold, and faring gold and no one to sell it to, though most gold sellin places sell in game currency for other games, hopefully JM will then realie they are RAAAATARDS

First of all silkroad is against all botters. thats why they ban them, sure they can back , thats why joymax bans them again. Most of the botters that are high lv have a good bot that doesnt get detected by joymax security. Once in a while they ban a high lv. I dont know why u all hating on joymax, they ban bots they added new hackshield they try to ban bots. If goldbots were their income they wouldnt ban them at all. As i said before i think joymax trys to ban the player bots but their bots dont get detected. Joymax is trying there best to make it a fun game for all of us but you all do is QQ........... Dont hate or reroll to wow

Traffic = money.

this is flawed. then you didnt see all the prems because other non prems could connect so it was thinned out. now, all the non prems are likely not connected. not everyone will pay to log into a free game. i will buy silk to play a game i can log into. when traffic is good, i log in i buy silk and i play. and just because i only buy a gold time ticket doesnt make me less of a person, nor does it mean i shouldnt be able to log in to use it. they dont make more money with more traffic. its just that mostly people with prem are able to log in. its deceiving.

If people truly want the gold bots to leave, they need to stop buying gold. It's those players who cause the problems for the rest of the servers. >.>"
