Lightning Chain

What's the prerequesite?
MMO site says that you need Heaven Chain lvl9.
The game says that you need Ascension Chain lvl9.

Listen to the game. IMO its worth getting all of the chains anyway. They are all good.

You will need to max both anyways, ascension for lightning and heaven for the thousand army chain.

This is so irrelevant, he is asking which chain you need for the lighting chain, you could just answer that instead of saying 'you need all chains maxed anyway'. Its not like any legit player can farm all the sp thats needed for both chains, so its perfectly normal that he wants to save sp by taking only one chain.
and to answer the original question: Ascension chain is needed for lighting chain (like it says ingame)

Lolpwnd. You're making yourself look like a dick, he was giving the guy some advice, no need to troll. You may be right, he might only want one chain, but then again, chances are he wants both, like most nukers, and all bladers ..
