i have an old pc , with 1.7/128 processor
and 512 ram , 32 MB. shared video memory
and i want to play sro on it , i don't care how bad the graphics would be
but is there any trick to boost the game's performance?

1. Can you play SRO on it right now?
2. what are the graphics? (low, medium?)
3. How much frames do you pull of that system with SRO?

i downloaded it months ago and yes i was able to play it , but i deleted it because it was too slow

low ofc. everything set on the minimum

idk how to get the frame rate showed , but it was like one every one or two seconds

so?

I used to be able to play on my 2ghz/512mb ram/128mb vid card pc..it was slow but it worked. I think yours is just not good enough to run it

The most important thing you got to do right now is upgrade your RAM, If graphic GPU is not so big deal.
BTW, update your all drivers of motherboard, cpu, and gpu.

Cause i play on my P4 1.5ghz, 512mb ram, and 64mb very easy

My Sisters computer ran it like a slug till I hid the ui. Made it much faster actually.

what is ui?

User interface, it's what you see, your skill bar/mini map/hp/mp etc...Hit F12 to hide it.

it's now working good enough to stand at the ong spot , the heat may turn off the computer after a few hours

take advantage of it and roast some marshmallows

upgrade your vidya card and ram if possible. get at least a 128 GPU thats a PCI card and a 512 or 1GB DDR or DDR2 ram, whichever your mobo supports.

if its a agp bus type try get an old fx5200 or 6600gt both should work fine all be it playable

WAAHAHAHHA don't try to upgrade your computer just to play this game, cause you'll spend your time raging at the login query.
