To reach a certain level, you have to :
- complete a certain quest
- do a certain time of trade run
- reach a certain job level
- have a certain number of apprentice graduate
- participate to CTF a certain time
- stall for a certain duration
- donate gold to newbies
- succeeded in alchemy for making a +3,+4 thing

at last
- have to buy a certain number of silk 10 levels near the cap :sohappy:

- participate to CTF a certain time - Hate CTF, dont like games that force you to do something you hate.
- stall for a certain duration - Yes Easy.
- donate gold to newbies - Why should we, a game should be made so that you gain the right amount of gold for your lvl to buy pots, gear etc.

If these rules were implemented you would see alot of people leaving the game, and im meaning legits and botters. Alot of legits dont buy silk plus people play Silkroad for different reasons, they may love Trading, Hunting, Thiefing but hate CTF with a passion and with that they will not continue to play, Joymax and the players of Silkroad will lose more then gaining. Less people on servers means boring and no action, and on the business side Joymax will lose alot of money.

All joymax need to do is allow players to choose the skills they want to have and level up those skills... for example:

- Players have a pool of skills to choose from (lots of Chinese and Euro skills)
- All players have a fix amount of skills slot in their skill tree
- From the skill pool players choose the skills they want and level them up
- The quest system should level up your character instead of grinding.(1 month max to reach cap)
- The only grinding in the game is to level up their chosen skills

You can have a cool looking char with nice looking gear but weak/low level skills because the player hasn't grind hard enough to level their skills. Leveling up your skills/abilities is more realistic too than leveling up yourself.

No, thx. We don't really need another WoW-Clone. I know many ppl, who think, that (K)SRO is good as it is. If you want such a game, why don't you go search for a game, which is like that? It's good, that not all games are the same in grinding etc. because everyone can choose the game, which he likes then.

I'd rather buy something that doesn't have a good chance of giving me diarrhea.

I'm not a WOW fan. Never played that dam thing because I don't really like it. I didn't even knew that's how it is in WOW. But I still stand by what I said and do think joymax should adopt this method. Too much emphasis is placed on leveling up. If people can reach the cap in a month or two we'd have more people playing the game.

We'd have lots of high levels with various skill levels. Your skills won't be a function of how high leveled you are and that will make the game more interesting and realistic. Imagine all duels/PvP is determined by how advanced your skills are and the type of skills you have and not from the fact that you are 100+ level. Nearly every MMO out there is based on being high level to be the best and that's the real clone...SRO is one of those clones.

That's kinda hard in sro. Imagine someone with all KD, KB, stun, curse. You won't be able to kill this guy.

Well, i never tried WOW either, but i don't like this type of games, where you just do endless quests to level up until cap. Questing all the time is boring like hell imo. Tried 2 or 3 MMOs, which were just based on questing and i didn't even stay on that games for 1 week. I am playing MMOs to do something together with my friends and it doesn't really matter, if it's trading, unique-hunting, pting, pvping, Battle Arena or w/e. In a game, where you reach cap after a month or two you, i don't really see the point to continue playing, but that's probably just me. Besides that you can have lots of fun at lower levels in SRO too (maybe not on ISRO, but on the SRO version, where i play, you can)
