So I'm wondering...

So, I'm an old school player of SRO. Back when 40 was all the rave and SOS ONLY ruled the servers.

I went inactive after I hit 80 due to the still ever growing botting and decided to research on SRO once more...

I'm just wondering if starting over in SRO would be a wise idea or waiting for SRO 2 is another good option?

Well if you have not played since the 80 cap, Id say you would have a lot to catch up on heh :D
I think the level cap on iSRO at the moment is 110 but yeah I think just play on iSRO since so far "SRO2" is just a myth.

If botting is the reason you left the game before, I don't think starting to play again now would be a good idea. The servers are 24/7 crowded, it takes hours of waiting to log in if you don't buy a Premium. Bots are all over the place, there are no active GMs, no community to interact with, jobbing is pretty much dead... Even though it looks like Joymax have been trying to revive the game in the last few months, it still is the same old bot-infested shithole it was before.

Traffic isn't as bad as it was during 100 cap. Mostly because bot programs can't go clientless now. I logged in Troy server (which is one of the more crowded servers) in less than an hour today, and it's a weekend.

>_< No, it was confirmed long before April 1st, that game even was in the voting in the mmosite competition joymax was so fed up about, there is an SRO2 coming and is said to be launched 2010.

Thanks guys.. um in response to the SRO2, can anyone direct me to any further information on this? I've been hearing that the cap and such would be similar to how SRO began...

Launched in 2010 for the koreans. As for the international people, we'll get it a couple years later.

if there is really SRO2, then its only logical that joymax denies it. If they confirm it, ppl will quit sro1 and wait for sro2, means that they lose the silk buyers.

I personally don't think that there is SRO2. What's the point in making sro2?

To correct the mistakes they made in sro.

they could have corrected them years ago, when ppl started botting.... just like rsro....you bot, you get banned....it makes no sense that rsro GMs can ban ppl, and isro GMs dont give a shit

Right now most servers are very crowded all the time and filled with bots. Also the lvl cap is 110.

There are quite a few new things, new legends, fortress wars, europe race (i dunno if you already played it), dungeon (75+ and 95+ caves), raids, etc.

If you decide you want to play again, and want to go on the server with the most legits, I suggest Venus. We have a good legit union there, mostly European chars (great parties togehter), and most of us are in European timezone too. If you choose for Venus, let me know so I'll give you some names to pm ingame.
