it does. If you want an account register on the forum and hope that we select you. ^_^

btw, rates are undecided and the server will be hosted in Europe.

though the site is still unfinished due to some intern discussions about the layout.

our forum is fully functional anyway, so is our irc channel and teamspeak server.

No, we do not ask donations for now, but once we launch we will open up an item mall. The emulator is fully coded by our team but the rates aren't decided yet.

well i dont use irc or team speak so i wont get a beta account. but i cant wait till it opens to the public.

I will test this when it releases, I'll keep an eye on esro forums.

Btw...does esro work together with iSro or do I have to delete iSro before installing? just asking although I know it takes a while before this is out.

Best thing to do is to rename your iSRO folder to say "iSRO" and when you install eSRO to rename it to "eSRO". That way you can play both whenever you feel like it.

wont this require registry editing also? i would hope the esro install would take this into account and make the install work differently and enter ther reg differently.

Nope it doesn't take registry editing, I already tryed installing sro 2 times, and it works as long as the destination folder doesn't already exist.

Isn't this going to run into the same problems the other private servers suffered from? Like the ecSRO ordeal? If you open an item mall to sell things won't you get sued as well?

I talked with the guys on the IRC. They said that the teamspeak is kinda dead. Hopefully we can revive it again

anyway since we won't sell silk they can't really do much since we made our own emulator instead of stealing server files. We will just accept donations with silk as a reward, but since silk is also obtainable through events it shouldn't be a problem.

well they are starting at the 60 cap so im guessing the euros will come later on.
from what ive heard, yes bots are illegal.
we can only hope the GM's will be active.
and,im not sure about the status's but why wouldn't they all work?

I'd rather have them release their files.. So we can all start a server on our own.

How many beta accounts will be given anyway?

Well I need to clarify some things. Bots are indeed illegal and we've developped a custom protection system. Euro's won't be there in Closed Beta but we're not sure about OB or live version. since we developped an emulator everything can be updated and everything will work on the live version, if you didn't get your activation mail please send me a pm with your account name and i'll activate it
