like the topic...

a friend of mine hes 41 and has both 2 imbues and cant decide what to drop. he asked me to ask the community

Fire:
Pros ~ Highest dmg imbue in-game.
Cons ~ doesn't transfer damage(never proven)
doesn't increase nuke AOE

Light:
Pros ~ transfer damage(to 2 mobs near to the target)
increases nuke AOE
Cons ~ mid-high damage


choose your chickens and lets do Cock(Rooster) fights

any addition of pros and cons are good

Since he has both lightning and fire forces I assume that he is a pure str character. Either bower or glaiver. Of course I'd drop lightning imbue. It is true that it hits more than one target but the damage is too low.
If he is a nuker and my theory totally failed then tell him to get cold as soon as possible.

Nuker works just fine with fire/cold. You can go slightly hybrid in that case but pure int is okay aswell. I have both lightning/cold and fire/cold nuker and the last fun is moar fun. My damage output is insane, well using heuksal as a weapon.

Fire is a lot better, most nukers are left to choose between light and ice, which is why light SEEMS to be more popular.

hes full force nuker... no weapon build... no flaming please... i know it sucks... i tried arguing with him but he likes the build, and he said he never like pvp. hes more on support kinda guy(or should i say Gay, literary)...

I was NOT talking about the imbue. I thought your mate has some weapon skills and fire/lightning. You don't take cold because of the imbue, you take it to increase your phy. defense and for the snow shield.

If he's a full force nuker i suggest ice, light, force:
as u said, he just want to support then he need ice for defense ( snow shield of course max ) light to run fast and phantom to escaped and lastly, force to heal, buff and a good resser also.

this is only a suggestion.

you just said hes not into pvp and then you argued about if all ppl are immune to cold....... what does it matter if hes not into pvp ?

well he do like fortress war and CTF ... i meant about PVP is that he doesnt like 1 on 1 type of PVP.

for support i choose light since light has speed and phantom, and u can use all the buff of lightning. On the other hand fire has little bit higher damage compare to light but it's too little and u don't need the fire buff since it's for physical damage buff.

in conclusion u don't need fire for support, u have the speed of light to escaped when someone attacking u and u can free shot when they don't attack u. full force is really good for support especially during trade or job war.

Tol. i agree and i like your idea. buts its his character, not mine(i quit long time ago) and he has fire, light and cold up to 32(hes on 9 gaps,lvl 41).
