Hey all,i tried looking up old posts and no answers..so title says it all,whats the .26,.27,.28,.29,.30 we see on the rev6 site..just under the Line Estimation time (mins)

and some people wrote it was a server line-up sort of a thing..that matters with your pc's port entrance..or something like that...if so,how do i change it to another line..or how do i see on what line im actually on..thanks!

Those are "gateway" login servers. They just pass your request to login to the "real" game servers.

You can check what server you're in queue for by opening the SRO client, hitting Start on the SRO client and then opening a command prompt. Start-Run-cmd-<enter>

Then type netstat <enter> and look towards the last lines. You should see the .26 - .30 there. If the one listed on Rev6 as a "slow" one, close out of the SRO client and try again.

The other way to limit yourself involves changing your hosts file and is located here:

u can see what the ip is by opening the launcher. Then go Start>Run and type cmd. Then in there u type netstat -n and ips will appear. The one u will be looking for is 121.128.133.XX:15779. XX is the number of the loginserver u will be connecting through. There go the numbers from 26 to 30.
U can change the connecting server by reopening the launcher and typing netstat -n in the cmd and looking for the ip to change.
Or go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc and open the file hosts with notepad.
Then add the following lines:
121.128.133.XX gwgt1.joymax.com
121.128.133.XX gwgt2.joymax.com
121.128.133.XX gwgt3.joymax.com
121.128.133.XX gwgt4.joymax.com
Replace the XX with the number of the loginserver u want to log through.
Rev6 shows the estimated time of login through all the loginservers.

what happens if i look at rev6...and it shows only blanks in the .26,.27,.28,.29 corresponding slots,for the server Athens...? whats my other option?...try them all..one by one,and wait 30mins minimum for each one...?

ok..well currently in Athens theres blanks all over the slots..and somehow..i still cannot connect..and i've tried .26,.27,.28, and im on .29 now for about 10mins..and theres no response..no sign of getting in..and i've waited minimum 30mins for every .xx server and no sucessfull logs...
Any explanation for this?

lol? if it shows blank, it means rev6 hasn't been able to get an estimate yet.

Explanation? yes. It's sro. You must be one of those rare newbies in this game. Welcome to the true face of SRO. Once public events are over, same shit happens. JOYmax will stop giving a rat's ass about what happens in the server. Goldbots are now back in full force. IF you were able to login, you'd see goldbots by the hundreds just walking around donwang and samarkand. It's almost like a stream they way they all go.

Anyways, enjoy the hours of logging in only to be dc like 5 mins after you get on. <3 sro.
(be happy, right now wait time is only 2-6 hours), I remember when a full 28-32 hours was required to login. Good times.

In practical terms, I've never had to wait when there were blanks.

I've noticed more bots coming back...Just waiting for the moment I will again need premium, and all the new people leave because of the wait times.

That's estimated. If i leave for class at 9AM, than come back for lunch around 12 and it's not on yet, than i know it'll take awhile. If i come back again around 4 and it's still not on, i know it's at least 7 hours. On the weekends i'll start sro, than launch css or something to kill time. Or just go watch a movie and come back later when i get bored.

The best time you could have a chance for a real fast login (lets say 1-2 hours) its from 16:00 to 20:00 GMT -6 (pacific time) i dont know why, i cant explain anything but, thats the time i get home after work and i can login sometimes in less than an hour.
